I do. Just in case the battery voltage drops.

So I bought the V-Car and downloaded Bimmercode on Tuesday night. Took about 20 minutes to code all of the below - no issues, worked a treat.

Now, to look at some of the more complex things?
  • Radio/nav off when drivers door open
  • Windows not interrupted by doors opening
  • Door handle LEDs on in reverse
  • Start/stop remember last setting
  • Add DRLs to setting menu & activate rear DRLs
  • Change Nav boot screen to ///M
  • Add acoustic sound on lock
  • Add digital speedo

Planning to start coding and see what I can do with bimmercode. Do I just need to buy the adapter below and connect via Bluetooth?

Or is there a better adapter?

It connects via wifi. I'm assuming you've purchased the bimmercode app too? And yes that's the right adapter.

Thank you for responding, cool I'll buy the adapter and then purchase the full app.

Still waiting for the car to be delivered will let you know how I get on.

Anyone know if you can code the exhaust valve to stay open in all modes? Cheers.

Just unplug the control switch from the exhaust by the flap.

I just didn't want the wire dangling down.

You can control the exhaust flap via an app called bimmerlink. You can keep an eye on temperatures and other stuff too.

Do you have to have that connected all the time? I'm on android and use bimmercode on my missus ipad.
