Carly adapter...

Post by judeep » Thu Sep 07, 2017 9:25 pm

Do you really need to buy a Carly obd unit if you have one that works just fine with Torque?

Interested in manual dpf activation so if you buy it is it one time only or lifetime with Carly?

Tia.

I realise that, I just meant if an adapter works with Torque and the like will it connect with Carly? Their adapter seems pricey compared to others that do the same thing!

I have tried other obd adapters and they don't work with carly, but my cheap obd lead does work

If that's a genuine carly adapter they have a lifetime warranty. Must be worth a punt.

Decided on the adapter as I want to use an android tablet. Arriving tomorrow, if it doesn't work it's going back and I'll get a cable and use my windows tablet.
