cannot code mulf2

Postby Matt_c » Sun Nov 20, 2016 8:49 pm

hi all

so when i bought my 135i the mulf2 module was missing so i sourced a second hand one but when i went to code it using icom it came up with no communication with module so i checked the MOST connection under the glovebox and i have a red light there and a red light at the mulf so i assumed the module i got was faulty so i bought another mulf2 and this time it recognises the module is there but cannot code it, icom first of all comes up with a green tick then we choose replacement coding procedure it says no communication with ecu?

if anyone could shed any light on this it would grateful

If you can get your mate to plug in his ICOM while I remote in, I should be able to fix it.

You should not need to connect the MOST adaptor when coding the MULF, maybe only if you want to Flash it.

Im still happy to help if you want to get in touch.
