I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole though. The local dealers quote, before I contacted Tony, was about £150 more expensive per month. Tony gave me his best deal first time and his service is spot on. It's a two hour drive to Heathrow for me to collect my car from Tony rather than 5 minutes up the road but in my opinion well worth the trip.

Tony has been honest throughout and given me his best deal without having to play the usual dealer games.
Good grief. £150/month difference is diabolical. I am considering changing from the 120d to the m140i for a post March delivery. Will have to accept negative equity

Hi All - I'm trying to access the calculator but I get a password request when I try to unfreeze the spreadsheet.

Can anyone help me?

Thanks

I'm busy trying to spec a 140i from Tony. It would be really helpful (to save me bothering him unduly) if the calculator could be updated to warn when you've broken the new £40k "list price" restriction, over which you pay a huge amount in extra VED for the first five years. Not easy because different people, including the government, seem to have very different ideas about what "list price" includes.

Hi All,

Sorry for the slow responses. Work has me snowed under at the moment. I have a slight challenge in that I've forgotten the password to the spreadsheet. There are a few ways to get around this so will take a look over the next few days

Cheers

Sun protection glass
Folding mirrors
Heated front seats
HD Surround audio
Driver comfort package
Wish List - BMW M140i

A warning for anyone using TRLs prices to get their locals to match,

I ordered through my local dealer at the same price as TRL in December when Tony closed his order books until the new qtr info was availiable.
After two months of being messed around, my order got cancelled and I've now ordered from TRL. If I've learnt anything at all, just look at the amount of glowing reviews he's got from members of this group.

Your local dealer won't be used to selling a car at such a discount, so you will become a very low priority customer to them, I found this out the hard way.

Hi All,

I posted over in the TRL forum also, but due to some serious procrastination issues, I decided to attempt to put a TRL Quote Calculator together. The figures are based on the numbers TRL posted on this thread: viewtopic.php?f=80&t=72965

I've also reverse engineered a few quotes some forum users sent me, as well as taking RRP pricing from the BMW configurator. Ive tested against 3 different quotes and the numbers come out +/- a couple of quid a month (probably due to estimated cost of additional miles).

You can download the spreadsheet here: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/639 ... %20v7.xlsx

Cheers,

Yeti
Has this been updated to include the increase in the base prices?
