Ring Kevin at North Oxford and say Phil Gray sent you, that's where I got mine from and it was about this time of the month i got my deal.

My GFV is just under £26k after 4 year BTW!
Gave Kevin a call - what a nice fella!!
He was totally honest with me and said best they could probably do is £750 max discount, and that if i wanted a deal to go round to a few dealers in person on saturday and there might be someone 1 car short of hitting a target who would give me more off to sign up there and then.
He's probably sold more cars this month than he can handle handing over!

Edit: They probably don't have an un-registered car on the boat or in the dock... You need to find a deal that has an un-reg in stock so they can register it before the end of the month - which is effectively tomorrow...
F20 M135i - most toys
F80 M3 - even more toys - gone!
F87 M2 - most toys

you'll always get a better deal the longer you wait, but how long are you prepared to wait?

Get your details to a few dealers, with an idea of what you're looking for. I got a deal I was very happy with, they were looking to get it done for the end of September.

Best chance of a deal is a dealer short of their target or a private seller/small dealer who is more of a motivated seller.

I bought one today pre registered end of September with over 6k discount from Halliwell Jones. There are 3 pre reg at Wiliams in the North West at £44990, 2 grey, one white; all DCT with reverse camera, folding mirrors, heated seats, HK and elec memory seats. These are eligible for Q3 5.9% new car finance.

Crazy to think some people are still queuing for these cars at RRP... it's madness. Even if a new order wasn't available I would compromise on my spec to save £6k.

Mad thing is it would probably be compromising upwards - more spec than you wanted, for less money!

The car i was offered at Cooper BMW they took £2400 off, and had more toys than i wanted, so would have been an overall discount of about £1800 - which isnt bad.

Think im going to wait til i find out if i got a slot for the M2 CS (name down) and if not, come the end of the 4th qtr ill go round and see what the best deal i can find is on a pre reg.

Yeah they are nice specs, the only thing I really wanted over what they come with was the icon headlights.

Fair rationale - I have a provisional CS slot but I'm concerned that the price hike will be too large for the improvements which is why I've opted for an unallocated LCI car. I'll retain the CS slot and make a decision on that near the time.
