I think you need an extended test drive to get to know the chassis to feel the benefits of the M2 over the M140...

The weather conditions will also not be great at this time of the year to exploit the M2 chassis too IMO

I test drove a brand new unregistered M2 before purchasing my M140 and was told to be sympathetic as it's a new car although it didn't stop me from redlining it in a few of the lower gears but I didn't really get to drive it the way I wanted to exploit the chassis (that would have taken some time) which was one of the reasons I didn't feel it offered enough considering it's £20k additional outlay..

There was a side of me that also didn't want to like it too much as I wanted to keep hold of the additional £20k I would needed to find to buy one

Good luck with finding one but any good dealer would get you sorted.. Shame there are some dealers/salesman that don't seem to want to make the effort for you!
