M4 GMFV less than M2?

Post by wenklaw » Thu Nov 16, 2017 12:55 pm

Just having a nose on Sytners site and I came across this, now I know the price is for a M4CP with no options but still, £24k GMFV after 4 years? That's less than the M2 at £26k after 4 years. Seems strange to me but then I have never really looked at M3/M4 prices.

Term of agreement 48 Months Total amount of credit £53,280.99
47 Monthly Payments £749 Option to purchase fee^ £1

On the road cash price** £60,965.00 Optional final payment £24,038.90
Customer deposit £749 Total amount payable £66,926.91
Deposit Contribution £6,935.01 Rate of interest 3.9%
Total deposit £7,684.01 Representative 3.9% APR

Is the high GFV for the M2 not just to push PCP sales. I mean will a 4 year old M2 really be worth £26k? Maybe when you buy it from a dealer but I would not expect to get anywhere near that when trading in.

So long as your trading with bmw though that’s the gfv they will work to so the car will at least make that number

Not sure that would be what you got in the end.

The GFV for a comp-pack M4 was definitely £30k a couple of months ago. Of course a Comp-pack M3 would be a far better choice. :D :D

Still makes the M2 look like it will hold it's value better.
