I’m going to lose out about 3k on my m135i with meg equity but I’m still thinking of going ahead with the M2

Really bored of the m135i now and nothing else in the same bracket as M2 comes close to the monthlies.

Its a good deal you have been offered but perhaps they didn't offer a great p/x which seems to be a trend with some of the cheaper cars on offer..

Still I'm sure it will work out for you... You will love the M2.. Early days of it I think I'm going to really enjoy owning this car :)

Part ex was awful on my m135i but I don’t blame them, the market is ruined.

Privately I should be able to get 18.5k for it, they offered just under 17k. Dealers are selling similar models for just shy of 20k and some over.

I owe 21k on mine so I will take a hit regardless. Either I sell it to someone privately or just keep it until the end of the year and voluntary terminate.

Seems to be a trend as mentioned earlier that many on here are asking about what people have paid for their car and not taking into account the true cost to change e.g. if they are offering you £1k less for your car then it's the same as adding £1k to the invoice price..

I think if you don't have a p/x e.g. manage to selll privately or perhaps ending a lease contract, that's where you an really benefit from the low costs available right now...

I noticed also those dealers who are offering higher APR with finance are able to offer more for your p/x which is great if you're deciding to settle finance early (I suspect this maybe a minority) either by using savings or re-financing elsewhere with lower rate APR..

Park lane BMW. They only had 2 and all sold out.

There will be more deals, some people have got better on brand new ones believe it or not!

I didn’t realise until now that the M2 has increased in cost nearly 4K in last 12 months😳

Pointed my mate to some of the deals as he has been itching to get rid of his RS3 ever since I got my M2 last year. Basically there are decent spec M2's out there with good discounts but you are spot on as he was offered £3k less than his Audi dealer offered if he chopped in for another Audi but the discount Audi offer on the TTRS was nowhere near that of the M2 discounts. So its basically magic calculator time but in essence its still similar levels of loss either way.

He is actually thinking of still doing it though as even with the sh*t p/x its still coming in at £45k for a very good spec, not pre reg LCI.

Strange he's thinking of a TTRS or an M2 - totally different cars!

I looked at the TTRS and the M2, I don't think buyers are that far apart although they are a fair bit more expensive.

Basically he purchased the RS3 as he was chasing top trump bragging rights and forgot that its basically a shopping trolley and doesn't particularly look the part like the M2 or the TT, hope he isn't reading this!!! And if he is you know its true!!!!
He is also a bit of an Audi fan having had a TTS before the RS3 but now sees the TTS as a step down from the RS versions and also the M2

I didn’t end up going for the park lane deal as they needed an answer straight away and I was unsure... it sold straight after I said no for higher than I was offered.

Was kicking myself for a few days especially after I rang around all dealers for same spec pre reg cars. They all said that deal was impossible to match...

Last ditch effort, I found one with a higher spec and got an even better deal! Pick it up on Wednesday hopefully :)
