Available soon and mileage upon application suggest it is a demonstrator and may not be available for 3 months. Nonetheless, what does that mean for trade prices? You'd be lucky to get £36k. BMW has shafted it's customers with thus oversupply.

I wouldn't worry, this is just a shift to get rid of the last of the N55 cars (No other new BMW shares the N55 engine) so once these cars have gone, used prices will get back to normal within a given time..

BMW have always shifted end of line cars like this so should come as no surprise

It does mean anyone who wants to shift their M2 in the next few months will take a hit..

Been away for some time so apologies for getting involved. I got quite excited about the Vines car as it was local and a great price. Called them yesterday but no answer. They did however get back to me today with some c**k and bull about how the car wasn't for sale at that price and they have added lots of performance parts to it now so its priced at over 50K used.....

Seems most of the franchises had their quarter end and had to sell or register cars so a lot of M cars became available as of today. Strange the M2 prices have not really gone down, if anything gone up since December. Going to be hard pushed to sell them all if the comp order books open soon!

I feel like a bit of vulture waiting for the prices drop. I did sell my lovely 1M last year for cheap due to lack of funds so don't feel too bad :)

Gone up since December? I've been watching closely and would suggest the opposite.

I have been offered a pre-reg 67-plate M2 with a list of just over £51,000 for £42,700 with 3.9% APR, £4,500 deposit, £391 per month. Given the recent news about the M2 Competition, is this a good deal or should I wait to see if prices drop further?

67 pre-reg with a reasonable spec for £39,990:

Give them a call and see if 3.9% is available - I found that the rates given in the BMW approved site were often wrong. There are other pre-reg cars on the site which under £42.7k.

Thanks - I actually spoke to a very helpful salesman during the week about that car. I told him the figures I’ve been quoted by another dealer, and he said that he could not get close to them, even with a cheaper car. He said they can’t offer anything near 3.9% on pre-reg cars, so I suppose it would be a great car for a cash buyer.

As for the others on the BMW site, I am looking for LBB on Mineral Grey, which look to be in short supply right now.

I'm off to speak to Marshal tomorrow, but I think it's too soon for me to go yup - I'm also leaning towards owning outright, never done PCP so just mmm.
