M2 PCP

Post by JNutts » Fri Mar 16, 2018 10:33 pm

Hi!

I had an LCI M135i on a 4 year PCP, I sold it back to BMW after about 14 months at the end of November last year. I only put down £1,000 when I got it so owed BMW around £1,700 to settle.

Although my priorities should probably be elsewhere, I'm back looking at Beemer's, specifically M2's.

Now, I'm only looking to have a bit of fun and keep it for a short amount of time (1-2 years).

If I were to get one on a 4 year PCP deal with for example £2,000 down, £527 P/M, 8k miles and a GFV of £25,290.43, would I be looking at a similar amount as the 135 to settle with BMW if I were to hand it back early?

Cheers!

Who knows.....there are too many things (new model released, differing individual BMW dealer values, px on another car etc etc) that dictate the value at that time.
Why not get one on a shorter PCP deal and then you know you will owe nothing when you hand it back?
I've just got a pre reg over 30 months.

I guess that is an option.

What deal did you get if you don't mind me asking? Can't seem to find any great deals atm!

I paid £42,700 10k down £105 x 30 months @ 3.9% apr.
It looks like there are still a few pre reg cars available around the 43K mark on Autotrader... where are you looking?

M2 prices are softening quickly. I was offered a fully optoned, DSG, one year old car with 12k on the clock for £36k last week.

Chris’s, the blue 17 plate one? Think that’s a one off at the moment looking at auto trader etc prices, he is basically selling it for practically what the finance settlement figure is.
Current - M2 LCI
Gone - M135i LCI

Just been looking on BMW tbh mate.

I've just been offered £487 no deposit over 4 years so very tempted by that. It's Black though and I'm undecided between that and Long Beach Blue so don't wanna end up getting it for the sake of the deal and regretting colour choice.

What to do...🤔

Is that @ 3.9% Apr?
I ended up going for black over blue for the same reason... All personal preference though hey :P

I can put you in touch with my salesman who has two pre reg cars to shift

One is white and the other grey

Dct
HK sound
Sun protection
Electric seats and mirrors
Heated seats
Reverse cam

I’m sure I’m missing something.

Pretty sure you can get it 450pm no deposit over 48 months (maybe even a bit less)

I initially wanted to go with Park Lane but ended up elsewhere

Got :

Black DCT, HK sound, heated seats, adaptive headlights, high beam assist, speed limit display, sun protection, reverse cam, m seat belts

36 months no deposit £495pm

Out of interest, what's the final guaranteed value / balloon payment on this deal? It seems like an amazing deal and I assume the end payment has been significantly adjusted to get these numbers?
