118d 2006 remap?

Post by Gtran07 » Sun Jun 10, 2018 5:08 pm

Hey,

I'm looking to remap my 2006 118d. It's got 89k miles on it with the clutch replaced last week. What kind of performance gains can I expect to see if I bring my car in to be remapped by BW chiptune? Additionally, how much would it cost approximately?

Thanks in advance for any information, much appreciated.

Gavin

Be careful of your diff, 2006 118d Differentials routinely let go as stock (£1,000 to fix), let alone once you turn the power up.

As a bare minimum, I'd change the Diff oil to help prevent catastrophic failure (mine gets serviced every 25k miles)
