Right, I read this post and to striker-your car is old now accept that the turbo blew.

Jason @ Bw carried out work on my 2008 120D 177bhp after I had taken it to jayson @Viezu as I was using stupid amounts of diesel and didn't really notice much of a difference. Jason @BW is a very honest and helpful guy who answered any questions I had for him,Jason @BW invited me to stay the day while he worked on my car Jason @BW dyno tested my car with Jayson @viezu remap on (193bhp)then put the car back to standard then dynode the car again(180bhp), then tuned it to his spec and dynode it again, and after all that said he would not charge me a penny unless I was completely satisfied with the results. Jayson@Viezu even afterwards challenged that they could safely get more power even through Jayson@Viezu tried 3 times prior to me taking it to Jason @BW who made more power and torque using less fuel and less boost
Jason @ BW even showed me what Bhp my car could make without adding any more fuel or boost which was 213bhp
Jayson @viezu also threatened legal action which was a joke as all I was doing was speaking my mind( please see link below). When I told Jason @BW what Jayson@Viezu had said he asked me back and re tuned my car free of charge and brought the power up to 224bhp but also reduced fuel consumption.

My experience with Jason and BW Chiptune was first class and I would recommend them to anyone considering tuning a BMW.

I have meet both Jayson @viezu and Jason @BW I can confirm that they are to different people and company's

I've edited my post so it's clearer to read when talking about to different persons with the same first names

By knowing where all the limiters and single limiter which hold back power

Image

The red line is the 213bhp tests with just the limiters and single byte limiters adjusted

It will not make any more torque than standard till fuel is added

Kieran, I suggest saying nothing more about my car as you know exactly zilch about it's history.

I have the Garret turbo, Mapped at 43k, with OCD full history and the new breather was fitted. My oil changes with genuine parts never exceed 6k miles.

Only I know how my car is honestly looked after and driven. So spurting the statement that because my car is 'old', and I should accept the turbo went pop is absolutely ridiculous.

Every day is a school day, take a deep breath and talk some sense, or say nothing.

I haven't used Jason but he seems to have a good reputation on here - Strikers views excepted. I think he is up their with emap and the like. The likes of DMS are clearly dearer and it is for the individual to make their own mind up. I will certainly consider him given that one person doesn't like him but others do. Forums never seem to see anything other than massive likes or dislikes ... Sadly the middle ground are not often covered. Such is the nature of forums.

I for one am satisfied with what has been said re the links - or not - to Jayson, Jason / Chipped UK or whatever they are / were / are :D

Hi Jason

Do all F series share the same ECU's? doesnt the F10 M5 use the same ECU too?

Just wondering if its now possible to map the M135 or if there is any progress?

Cheers

Right, so the N20 engine can be remapped?

If so- how much can you get out of it?

Jason hasn't posted on this thread for 2 months since I spoke the truth, my opinion of course.

Give the bloke a call and arrange a visit.

I am not a dealer or tuner slayer, but due to it being an open forum, I spoke my mind.

Everyday still continues to be a school day. Who knows what tomorrow will bring.

Hi guy sorry I've been snowed under with work and flying abroad tuning

I'm in Qatar at the moment tuning cars high end sport cars here for another tuning company

Not all bmw F series cars share the same ecu

Yes the n20 125i can be tuned to a 128i power wise

We will have the 1st end user F series flasher tool out very soon so customer can read there cars send by email the read I can then tune the file and send back for them to flash to the car

I would like to thank all the F car customers who have helped us over the last few years

More info will be posted on the tool with prices in the next few months

By we are the only company to tunes these over obd without removing the ecu or bench flash
