I've seen a lot of good things about this mob but am always wary of people's 'facts and figures' as we all know dynos can be adjusted partially.

However there is alot of good feedback on bw chip tune but most go back a few months.

Anyone has recent dealings? Feedback?

If you're even vaguely local, I wouldn't go anywhere else. Highly knowledgeable and respected (despite their God-awful website).

Had mine remapped by BWchiptune a couple of weeks ago and I would definitely recommend them. Jason managed to squeeze me in with very late notice. Once I got there, Jason talked me through the whole process and updated me after every step which was helpful as this was the first time I've had a car remapped. My engine management light was on due to a faulty EGR, they disabled the EGR and the EML hasn't come up since. They also tried to fix a problem with my seatbelt tensioner free of charge.

In terms of the remap, the car feels much quicker and smoother to drive and my average MPG has increased (not during the first week though LOL)

I always tell everyone to do a load of research on the company you are thinking on using then once you have done that research them a lot more

I run a independent bmw workshop that is family run
I have over 30 years on bmw cars
I own the oldest tuning tools company in the uk and I only supply the professionals in the uk
40% of my work is fixing other so called tuners Remaps so I have good knowledge on the worst tuning companies out there

If there dynos over read and by how much
Which ones talks bs to customers just to get the work then when it all goes wrong they refuse to fix it
Which ones damage Ecus and leaves the customer without a working car
Which ones use clone tools
Which ones that use key board warriors to mention and promote them on bmw forums

I fly around the world tuning cars for races and rally's
I haven't had a Webb site up and running for years know as I've been ripped off by so many web design company that I've given up with then
But I'm always snowed under with work all the time
If you search bwchiptune remap on here or on Google you will find my work going back for many many years

Any word on a remap for the m240i in the pipe line, would be interested in getting one. I'm in Belfast but wouldn't mind the travelling to get it done. Would be looking to get this done around the start of summer 2017 as I know the engine is new.

Had my 318d (same engine as 118d) remapped by BW Chiptune, fantastic service and now pulls really well, stopped my car going into limp mode from previous tuners remap, Jason put the car back to standard and the remapped the car his way, even agreed to have the car for an entire week to make sure he was completely happy with the final map! Final results were 185bhp and 340 lb ft. Couldn't recommend more thoroughly!!

Had mine done on Monday this week - the difference is unbelievable! Jason was very good, especially with me poking around trying to see what was going on - his sons were very helpful too. Even replaced a duff air temp sensor for me which was good of them

The amount of problems we find that engines have when we Dyno test cars that customers never knew about as you found out and keeping parts in stock to test on cars is a must

The rolling road is one of the best diagnostics tools I've ever brought and we could not do with out it in house
