Some pro nav retrofit Questions

Post by sparkie1984 » Tue Apr 18, 2017 6:25 pm

Evening Wibbles,

mind if I ask some questions about the pro nav retrofit?

- Does it include everything needed to get it operational including the sat nav?
- My car is out of warranty but I pay for the warranty from them now, if the car went in for work would I have to swap the units back?
- Would any of the features like send to car or the Real time traffic work? (sorry if its a stupid question but I wasn't sure if it needs to have the built in data stuff)
- Is it possible for you to supply the kit and I fit it myself and you remotely code? (I believe your a really long drive from me)
- Is there much of a wait to get all the parts together?

I think thats it for now, just trying to weigh up whats involved if I was to go down this route!

Thanks for your time

Yes
Yes
No, not on your year of car.
Yes - I can supply fully coded units that require no remote coding - plug & play.
Depends on what you want. Evo units with iD5/6 can have a few weeks lead time, just depends what my supplier has in stock.
F21 M135i - AW CR - lots of options.

One more about the traffic, do you know if it would pick up normal traffic like the more basic sat navs? or would it be purely maps with no traffic?

wow, so you don't need to code anything on the car at all if you pre code it all?

Are there any cost differences between the units?

And finally what would the cost be for everything needed supplied and all coding done but with me doing the install? (Happy to PM if you'd rather)

Appreciate your help mate.

You'll get TMC traffic, which is still useful.

Yes

Yes but older NBT units aren't worth bothering with IMHO as the cost difference is negligible.

Depends on what is fitted to your car currently but £1500 for a fully supplied retrofit.

No problem.
