... and for what it is, a larger people carrier, it looks quite nice. Shame BMW didn't get that design team on the 1 series for the face lift :lol:

Looks exactly like a 2 series AT to me, albeit with a few inches more length and height. Was the 2AT really not big enough already?

Front wheel drive makes total sense for the purpose of the car from a packaging pov to maximise space and also from a predictability pov. It's not a track slag, believe it or not.

I think it's only been announced today - I'd be very surprised if he's got one - especially as in his signature he's waiting for a z4 35i

But I could be wrong

FWD to me is suited to this type of car. Problem with space inside is the tunnel still runs through the car for 4wd
220d Active Tourer Luxury Xdrive and loads of goodies.

Yeah I ordered one with 2 front seats only (low slung), short wheel base, RWD layout, N55T engine mounted longitudinally & foldable hardtop roof!
