Hi all, just interested on your views... I have a set of 19" 313 wheels to refurb and can't decide between paint and powder coat. Anyone got experience of both?

Powder coating is just as pretty as paint if done well, I've had many sets of wheels treated. It's generally more abrasion resistant and works well if wash regime is irregular, brake pad deposits are heavy etc

Powder coating for me.

Inspraytion in Medway Dan do a pick up and drop off service and turnaround is 3 days.

Was £65 a corner but has just recently gone up to £75 which puts them in Lepsons territory which isn't a good idea IMO.

Anyway, they did my 261's gloss black 4 years ago (£60 a corner back then) and they were perfect.

They have my beloved VMR's as we speak and I'm getting them back on Friday. Eeeeek can't wait.

Mine had been refurbed by Lepsons (powder coat) before I bought it 7 years ago. They still look great today.
I had my wife's F07 wheels done by them 6 months ago and they have already been curbed again. The damage is far worse than you would see on a painted wheel as the coating chips and spreads. It is also next to impossible to touch up effectively. I had to get the worst one redone before we sold the car.
In summary - if you are prone to curbing wheels then paint; if not powder coating is just fine.
