Re: START STOP Button UPGRADE!

Nice instructional video (well, apart from the music, but then I'm old....).

I prefer the original button though - less flashy (again, probably just a generation thing..).

Re: BMW M135i xDrive in Stock

You look at finances differently when your pushing 70 and living off pensions.... We don't need a replacement car and are not considering buying one, just looking at what's around if we have to. For the current 1'er choice (2 and 3 series won't fit in the garage), BMW look to have lost the plot as t...

Not everyone is fortunate to have 35k in the bank... but many people can afford monthlies.
Monthlies will cost more over a 10-year span - and a decent M135i (still without a manual box) is nearer 40k.

Re: BMW M135i xDrive in Stock

Business experts say... "If it appreciates - buy it . If it depreciates - rent it " And don't get me started on student loans which are actually a tax. Paul Not likely - I like to own and tweak my cars. I would aim to keep a car (always bought from new) for at least 10 years - BMW's should be good ...

Re: BMW M135i xDrive in Stock

What's all this "price per month" stuff - don't people (like me) actually buy cars any more?

Oh, and when will the Tahiti Green manual version be available?

That's still one of the best colours on a 1'er (after TG of course...).

..... I noticed the front of the car got lower and lower.

Turns out the coils had snapped. They had wrapped around the driveshaft .........
Eh? driveshaft at the front? Is yours a custom 4WD version?

Re: Is there a way to have what gear i am in displayed ???

That's worrying - you should always know which gear you're in just by the speed and feel of the car....

You can't remember what you did the last time you changed gear?!!

Re: Go on introduce yourself...

Hi all, Joined a while back, when looking to buy a m135i. And ending up buying one from a forum member, albeit saw it advertised on auto trader. Have owned for c.1.5 years and now looking to move it on, having bought a Porsche 996. I have listed it on auto trader, and will list on here shortly and ...

Re: What Did You Do To Your 1 Series Today?

My question is about displaying on-screen services. Does your vehicle's model design appear? I saw that the radio is the same for series 3 and X1 of the same year, my question would be if you put a CIC radio from a series 3 into a series 1, while doing the service check or even on the PDC screen, t...

Re: Have anyone ever bought back a car they have sold?

No, mainly as I absolutely hate changing cars. All my cars were bought from new and each after months of research to find the best for my use and budget at the time, each car was only replaced when it had to be frankly (oh, and each car has been quicker than the previous...). My previous car (a 2lit...
