Re: iPhone Battery Replacement Programme

Did the same thing Thursday evening, was about 40% then died and came back saying about 10%, despite the battery app saying it can hold 100% charge. Booked into apple store tomorrow at 3.30 but stuffed up cos they might not have time to change it before they close. Wouldn’t take it anywhere else, ju...

Re: iPhone Battery Replacement Programme

They changed mine as soon as they saw the software said it had done the auto restart thing, even though it said the battery was about 98% max capacity. They didn’t do Debs phone cos it hadn’t died on her, and the logs they retrieved showed high use at night when the batteries did drain...thats cos s...

Re: Home inkjet all-in-one?

Just incase anyone is interested, it was a piece of p$55 to set-up! I had to spoof his wifi SSID and password so that I could configure it to work on his home network, but once that was done, the printer set-up was really simple....everything just worked - first time!!!! These things have come on a ...

Re: Home inkjet all-in-one?

So after searching and realising that there are loads in the £30+ range we went to PC World and bought an Epson XP 355 for £39.99 At that price it doesn't really matter if its sh*te! Better £40 than £100!!!! Its one of those printers where it might be cheaper to throw away than replace the ink, but ...

Home inkjet all-in-one?

Any specific model recommendations? Colour laser would be nice, and I appreciate the consumables are cheaper, but at the probable print numbers I don’t think thats a real issue, but I'm struggling to find a colour all in one for under £100. Understand about inkjet heads drying out, but is that likel...

Home inkjet all-in-one?

Can anyone give any recommendation for the following requirements: low use....20 letters a month? colour, for items in letters, but doesn't need to be photo-quality USB, but wireless would be nice? (just wifi, not AirPrint or cloud stuff) Under £100 I'm thinking ink jet given the costs of colour las...

Re: DVI to DP

Wouldn’t know without trying, but there are 12 monitors going on 6 docking stations so i’ll need at least 6 of these, so I wont waste any, got a few hdmi cables around so I can test both outputs and if not just buy another 6.

Re: DVI to DP

U Da Man!!!! Thanks, hadnt thought of that, I think I ruled out HDMI cos the dock only has 1 hdmi, but didnt consider changing the dvi to hdmi! Cool, so hopefully I can get away with one of those per machine as I can use normal hdmi cable to the 2nd monitor! Finance director hopefully won’t have my ...

DVI to DP

So I might have made a booboo at work! There were some Dell P2417h monitors on special, so I bought 12 of them, to ultimately replace all the monitors that were under 23". We use the old Dell D3000 docks which have dvi ports, most people have 2 monitors. These monitors dont have DVI, they are DP. We...
