2014 M135i Radio/Parking Sensor, Cd etc Not working

So I picked up a 2014 M135i. Which is now back with the dealer. The screen boots up, I can navigate the menus, view certain items of information. However the Radio (DAB+FM), Parking Sensors, CD, Bluetooth does not work at all. No audio etc plays either. They have had it about 4 days now and have an ...

Re: What is she worth?

Apologies for another one of 'those' threads. I have looked on all off them hence me saying prices are widely varied. The reason for the post was because I have not sold a car with a brand new engine fitted before, will this increase the amount that can be asked? Decrease? Was just after some advice...

What is she worth?

Hi guys We have had our 120d for a little over a year now. The other half uses this for work (Estate Agent) however now she is taking a different career path it means I can indulge and I am planning to purchase an M3. So our 120d needs to be sold. About to pop it on the market shortly but looking fo...

Re: Cracked Block FL 120D OUCH!!!

Really...Just a bit puzzled really how it happened. Still on the plus side I get a Brand New Block and all the known issues sorted and we really like the car.

Cracked Block FL 120D OUCH!!!

The 1ER started losing Water. Topped it up and still it did it :( Taken to my local Specialist who thought it was a Headgasket. Turns out after they removed the head it was a cracked block between cylinders 2-3... Car has never overheated, run out of coolant so it is rather puzzling  We have a...

Re: N47 120D OIl Cooler leak

That is what I thought. So if this failed it could cause Coolant/oil to mix.

Cheers for that so more exploring to be done.

Re: N47 120D OIl Cooler leak

Hmm I always thought that they were coolant fed on the N47 120d. They can be either air cooled it coolant cooled. However that is not in line with airflow. Just to confuse matters there is also this heat exchanger mounted to the block http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?model=UB52&mospid=50329&b...

If the oil cooler on a 2008 N47 120D fails is it possible for Oil and Coolant to mix?

Re: Possible Headgasket Failure 120d

It usually does but recently the other half's work has seen her doing a lot of shorter trips so it could be that.

That was my thoughts. I will bolt her back together and see what happens when we fire her up.

I could not find any evidence of a blow HG but sure there must have been some.

Re: Possible Headgasket Failure 120d

The coolant seems fine but obviously has been dropping down and does not seem to have a layer of scum and when drained off didnt seem milky either.

Dipstick looked like dirty oil, perhaps a little light in colour but this was done via torch

Possible Headgasket Failure 120d

I think I might have a failed head gasket :( Following on from another post. I thought I had a faulty water pump. Bought a new one and belt and was going to start it tomorrow. Get a phone call from the other half saying she had a Yellow warning symbol with a thermometer with squiggles underneath and...
