Re: New gearbox - where did you go?

Thanks for your reply. Id be claiming it under warranty so it would likely be a new gearbox. If you recall who you dealt with from BMW Solihull please PM me. Not very far from me at all. You won't get a *new* gearbox. It'll be a remanufactured one that's been back to ZF for some reason and stripped...

Tyre Fitting Place Recommendations (PE9, PE10, PE6, etc).

Looking for a trustworthy (read: careful) tyre fitting shop somewhere in the Bourne, Market Deeping, Stamford area. Only want my wheels rebalancing this time around but do need someone saved in my phone for future reference. Last barrel of monkeys I chose managed to scratch all four of my wheels whi...

🤮🤮Liberty walk body kit. Absolutely hideous imho !!
I had heard that the panels were genuine BMW from some touring car/race car platform.

I've seen this in the metal and sat in it - it is all kinds of awesome and the attention to detail is flawless.

Re: PCP guys - do you intend on keeping the car?

This has been interesting reading as usually there's a bigger percentage of people NOT intending to keep a car after PCP agreement comes to an end yet here we are with a massive swing the other way. From the beginning I intended to keep mine and over the past couple of years I have toyed with the id...

3D Design Rear Diffuser & BMW MPE

Does anyone have any shots of their car (or anyone else's) which show the fitment of the 3D Design carbon diffuser with a carbon-tipped MPE?

Re: Bit of a car change dilemma

Turns out my own bank will do car loans at 4%, so the difference between the small loan I have now and the one for the Bullitt is just shy of £300/month. If I cancel my company share save scheme (as it's doing rubbish at the mo that makes it only £200/month more... I'll see if it's still available ...

Re: 3D Design Carbon Splitter for M140

Next mods will likely be Eventuri intake system as an upgrade to the Pipercoss filter I put in, underbody brace and a proper OBD remap. Reviving an old thread - did you go for the Eventuri intake in the end and/or a proper remap? I've just ordered my 3D Design roof/boot spoiler and a full all pedal...

Re: Driver-side door mirror not remembering saved positions anymore.

Possibly a silly response, but you’ve not accidentally reprogrammed it to be the same on 1 & 2? Definitely not. Interestingly it did seem to remember the old preset and would revert back to that (on Memory2) if pressed but wouldn't accept a new saved position on either Memory2 or Memory1. Basically...

Driver-side door mirror not remembering saved positions anymore.

Sure it used to do this but recently my drivers-side door mirror will not revert to last saved position when I press Memory 1 or 2 on the seat... This used to be double-handy as I could manually dip the driver-side mirror for parking neatly (and close) to kerbs and then when I drove off later, I'd p...

Re: Whine at 4000RPM. Gearbox?

I've posted before about this IIRC but I'm sure it's a combination of a lack of soundproofing on the M-lites - apparently certain bits of soundproofing are 'deleted' on the M-lite models to enhance the driving experience, so I'm told. ALSO... Temperature I think plays a big part. When mine is stone ...
