Re: Packs

I think it’s better cooling and bigger brakes , pretty sure if you select it on the configurator the brakes change .

Re: BMW extended warranty - worth it?

As far as I now if you let the warranty elapse you definitely can take it out again down the line but it will cost more than if there is no break in cover , that’s certainly the case for the m2 . I’ve never done it myself so may be wrong but there has been plenty of discussion on here about that sub...

Re: Who has ordered then

That’s interesting. I put a deposit on one and had the finance quoted at 3.9 apr not 7.9 and I was looking at a list price of approx 51k with a grand in it was just over 600 a month obviously with a discount on that list price , so you could definitely do better right after the launch at goodwood Th...

Re: M240i Lease prices

Just for reference I got a deal put together just after the goodwood launch at a list price just over 50 k with 5k discount at 3.9 apr with around 20k gmfv over 4 years at 8k per year and it was just over 600 a month with a 1k deposit Obviously you can put more in but that was just for comparison It...

Re: Bye M240i Hello M2

Pretty much 5 grand more like for like based on what ive seen some optimistic dealers asking even more .
However the pcp smoke and mirrors masks it somewhat as the gfvs have gone up by a similar amount so the monthlys now are similar to a year ago .
Man maths at its finest 😂😂

Re: A bit bored.... anyone else found the same?

Like the others have said , I couldn’t fault mine as a overall very competent hatch that does most things very well But like you I just found it dull , and as Marco says above its not a drivers car in terms of what matters to me . I felt the same about the golf r and S3 I’ve had previously so no rea...

Re: New member, M135i ordered for Sept collection.

The cannards can be ordered as they are standard fit on m sport versions ie a 120d msport etc , just not the m135i I dont believe the mirror covers come painted regardless so even ordering new ones they would still need painting. When i had mine i bought auto id mirror covers and replaced them mysel...

Re: M135i - Disapointing Test Drive

Completely agree , the zf8 in the m140 is better all round than the aisin box in the f40 m135i .
This entire thread just goes to show we all prefer different things and at the end of the day all that matters is what you think .

Re: M135i - Dissapointing Test Drive

I owned mine for around a year and whilst I don’t think the car is that bad , I do agree with some of your comments The torque steer could have been lane assist as suggested but mine was always turned off from day one and the car does on occasion torque steer quite badly , what I never liked was the...

Re: New car soon. But which one

You just need to try one really . For me they “feel” considerably different to a 135/140 A lot more engaging and focused Don’t expect a big step up in outright speed though Initially i felt mine was a little flat and unresponsive compared to my last 240 , but in sport plus and used as intended the m...

Re: New car soon. But which one

Ive got a m2 lci and had all flavours of mlite from the og m135 to a lci m140 and in terms of build quality i doubt you will notice any difference between the m135 and a m2 but the m2 is a lot harsher than a mlite so may end up with more rattles if anything over your car . For reference non of my ml...

Re: Ex lease M2, quick guidance please.

I wouldn’t let the lease aspect put you off , go on condition. The service history sounds like he/she followed the service schedule to a tea .
So nothing to worry about there

That’s very odd I was quoted 3.9% not 7.9
The discount on coast2coast is about what I got though

Re: 2022 BMW m240i

I put a deposit down a few weeks back before goodwood without knowing the price or finance deals . Once the finance portal came online and the prices were known I went through the figures and decided it wasnt worth the change for me . My spec was roughly 50k list The apr is 3.9 on the m240 gfv in th...
