Mine is original at 12 years as far as I can tell.
Original ones have the date stamped on the negative pole.
Ooh. I'll have a look later!

Re: 2006 120d m47 average miles to a tank

I never fill the tank, but from 30 litres I get 280-300 miles. 42-45 mpg on obc which is about accurate. A/B road mix. Motorways it creeps up to high 40s.

Steering Wheels

Is the e87/81 M Sport steering wheel exactly the same as the E90/92/93 and 1M steering wheel?

Cheers

Re: Battery health

From clearing codes and then restarting engine, the Xmas tree dash doesn't reappear until I drive off, suggesting to me that actually it might well be an ABS sensor at fault.

Clearly the battery is also a question mark too though 🤔

Re: Battery health

It's 12.1v ignition (Not engine) and lights on ... Pulled a 005DC3 fault code from the car just now. To add some background, had both reluctors/ sensors done in past 24 months and got the ABS pump back repaired from ECU Testing 5 days ago. Had 5 days of no ABS DSC lights on dash and now they're back...

Battery health

Is there any way of checking battery health on my 2006 120d? About a month ago I came back to the car on a hot day to find it completely dead. Jumped it and its been fine ever since. Now have some ABS/DSC fault lights and have heard a dying battery might be the culprit. Can I check it using Carly or...

I'd agree with the above. But damn, that's expensive for something that'll get ripped off!

Re: 208M, what are they worth?

I had a set of mint 208m for sale for months. No tyres. Eventually sold for about 250 IIRC. No chance your getting what your asking for them.

Re: GRRR: Fault code 005E20

Thanks Marco. The pump removal looks straightforward.

However, frustratingly I don't have INPA. without this I guess I can't bleed the system properly, meaning I need a garage. And I can't drive to the garage once the pump has been removed etc.

Unless I am missing a trick!?

GRRR: Fault code 005E20

DSC-ECU pressure sensor 1 internally defective. Pressure sensor on the front control circuit electrically defective. I assume this is the dreaded ABS pump needing repair? If so, does anyone have any better suggestions than using ECU Testing to repair the unit? Is it easy enough to see the part numbe...
