Re: JB4 with P3 Digivent Gauge

Yes - anything that may corrupt JB4 canbus data means JB4 switches to map 4.

Wo p3 gauge wired into canbus - car probably gives more in maps 2 & 5

Re: M135i EWG Jb4 map6 to MHD 2+

I suspect overall driveability and smoothness was also improved with the flash. More or less - the current owner of my old M135i [and others who have switched over from JB4 to MHD] says at WOT the initial pickup is noticeably tamer with remap compared to Jb4 and the dyno shows why. Initially, I had...

Re: M235i - M4 LCA's with H&Rs on 19" wheels advice

FOC? FOC = free of charge BP - I've been doing a bit of digging through some threads and found your alignment results with M4 LCA's and TS's + H&Rs. Comparing them to mine - it seems I have quite a bit more castor on one one side - my trig isn't brilliant but 0.7 degrees could make quite a big diff...

Re: B58 charge cooler

The charge cooler is in the inlet manifold...........not on the front of the car, look under the bonnet and you will see from the turbo (boost side) it goes straight into the inlet manifold and not into any intercooler at the front of the car (as long as you are talking about the Mx40 and not the M...

Re: M2 on the Marlow to Bicester run

A bit last minute but anyone up for doing this run tomorrow morning (18th August 2018)? Meet at beconsfield services around 7am. Shame I didn't see this earlier as could have combined the early morning blast down via A3 to Devil's Punch Bowl via Hindhead Tunnel to demo MPE track mode for a fellow M...

Re: Suspension parts to swap when fitting coilovers

I've bought KW v3s to fit to my LCI M135i. I've found a nearby garage who are happy to fit coilovers and M4 TS and LCA. They have suggested that as my car has done quite a few miles (+80k in 2.5 years) that I should replace the spring struts, top mounts, bearings and the plastic gaiter. They said t...

You have HP and RPM, so you have your calculated torque figures too.
Jah - I guess clue is in the title of OP's thread "....B58 Tune Dyno results" - OP posted up 3 plots and 3rd one - I'm not sure about. Whilst it looks like torque shape but RHS Y-axis reads wrong IMHO. BP

You have RPM and HP in the graphs, so you can do your own torque graph/calculations from that 🙂
Yup I could - OP doesn't seem to have a dyno plot showing torque pre- & post remap - bizzare

Re: Mission Performance B58 Tune Dyno results

OP

Once DP upgrade is installed and DME re-calibrates - you might want to get MisPerf to tweak yr remap to get the most from the DP.

How’s the torque -stock v remap ?

Re: M2 / M4 437m wheels

Are the M4 tyres not just wider, but not larger in diameter? The wheel size 19" and the cross section 35 are the same for both. So the speed readout should be identical. sidewall height is combo 35 aspect ratio and width ie 35% of 265 or 275. Hence diameter will increase as width increases and aspe...

Also wondering if I swapped the spacers around on the tension struts, would I push the wheel a bit further back in the arch?
Try it as its FOC !!!

Would running the larger tyre sizes cause any issues on the M2?
No - 255/275 fit fine. M2 speedo will be out slightly but fitting M4 tyre sizes probably corrects the inherent under-reading speedo setup that most car makers seem to err towards to help prevent owners from speeding !!!!
