Re: The F20 Alloy Wheel Thread

They'll be aggressive and pokey, but shouldn't rub. What are the wheels in ur avatar :) they look pretty awesome too hehe. My car is lowered with B12 kit (b8 + eibach pro), but by the looks of it, ET35 should fit with 8J should fit when I check https://www.willtheyfit.com/index.php?width=245&aspect...

Re: Apex 18” alloys

Mike

Apex FL-5 do look good and I considered them but they’re too pricey IMHO.

New 513m with 255/275 mpss tyres can be bought for less money.

Re: M140i aftermarket alloys

Anyone running 18x8” ET 35? What’s the fitment like once lowered? Yes - my old car EB pre LCI M135i with H&R sport springs + F8x LCA's + F30 style 397's are 8" wide all round and ET 34mm. Brings oem 225/245 MPSS tyre walls both F and R flush to the body w/o any issues nor dreaded spacers. http://i7...

I’ve gone one step colder plugs which has helped however still does it. When it happens the AFR is on 0.8. No codes being stored in the vehicle. Any ideas?
AFR is a ratio somewhere between 11.5 and 15:1 for n55 so not sure what 0.8 refers to.

Also have you done TBA reset ?

Re: Bigger (better) brakes for 2018 M2 LCI

Worth trying pads , hoses and uprated fluid first unless planning on long track sessions ? ^^^^ What this man said, try pads, braided lines and decent brake fluid first, you may be pleasantly surprised. Better cooling by retrofitting ducts to get air to the brakes will help completely std brakes to...

Sam

For b engines 4 cyl & 6 cyl engines BMW quote a part no of 12120047375 for flex fuel - not sure which brand or type of spark plug these are TBH

Re: M135i stage 2 problems

IMO 410bhp seems a little generious... The car is certainly burning fuel poorly hence the smoke. This may be of some use if the stock sparks are still causing an issue: https://bootmod3.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/BCS/pages/2558945/BMW+F+series+N55+S55+S63TU+Spark+Plugs+-+What+brand+and+which+gap I’m...

Yeah I put new plugs in when I had it mapped. Only put standard plugs in though
Did you check plug gaps before installing ?

What gaps are the new plugs set to ?

Ref Nisfan's comment above - might be worth trying to tighten the gaps from circa 0.7 towards 0.5mm perhaps ???

Ask the tuner to send some datalogs as CSV files then post them up

Re: M135i stage 2 problems

Difficult to comment wo any datalogs.

Whoever did the remap - take it back to them and demo to them the 5k backfire/stutter and ask them to datalog, review then revert with a solution

Re: M2 remap + intercooler recommendations

Looks like a faulty injector, caused heat in one of the cylinder bores and scored it and started to do a piston ring. Blimey sorry to read about that. Anything to do with upgraded hpfp pump/remap on yrs ? Thanks bud. It probably didn't help, i will know a bit more in the week. The service advisor t...
