Re: 130i hunters unite!

There don't seem to be many "Hunters" on the thread at the moment! I think mine will be up for sale soon if a viewing goes well later this week. 2006/55 130i M Sport Le Mans Blue 136k miles Full leather Well maintained Has been a joy to have for a year but I now need something bigger. Re: 130i hunters unite!

Hi all First time posting here, and perhaps not for the most positive of reasons. Have recently had a baby, which is great. I also own a 130i M Sport LE. This is also great. However it turns out that my initial stubbornness of not wanting to believe that a 3 door hatch would in any way prove imprac...

Removing under trays - how easy

Evening all, I've just tested my coolant for antifreeze properties and find that it's too concentrated and therefore not providing correct protection. I'm planning to drain it out and renew it. Looking at some of the YouTube guides it looks like draining the radiator is pretty simple once the under ...

Re: Whats your 120d MPG (pre FL)

Update on this for those following it. MPG has increased from 20 and has been around 26.4 since inflating the tyres. Clearly was my issue. Once I have had it mapped and scanned I will update this further to see if there are any other issues. Hopefully not. Still sounds poor. My 130i manages ...

Re: Tyre sizes 2005 130i M sport?

Morning All, My new to me needs 4 tyres soon. It's got non run-flat 225/40/18 all round at the moment. I believe (was told) that it had non run-flats from new. Looking at the pressure chart in the door frame it suggests that the fronts should be 205/40/18. There's no information in the Owners manua...

The 911 with no depreciation is arguably the cheapest of those cars long term.
With my 996 I'm hoping that my running costs will be less than the depreciation on a "normal" car!

Re: Upgrading from a 130i

Interesting what you say about the 997. Size, performance etc. I've got an early 3.4 996 and it has an entirely different character to the 130. It thrives on revs and really needs to be grabbed by the scruff of the neck to get the best from it. It took me a couple of thousand miles to "get it". I wo...

What code reader?

Afternoon All, Just bought a 2005 130i and am very pleased with it. It's done a few miles and whilst I don't expect problems I'd like to be able to diagnose any that do arise. Coilpack failure, Vanos solenoids etc. What code reader is recommended that would be able to do this? FYI When I had my Audi...

Re: N52 130i - Driving short journey with a missfire

Hi,

Thanks for this - I've only just seen your reply.

Having had the car a couple of weeks now - I've noticed the scuttle panel has been pretty poorly refitted, now I know why!
