I would if I owned any tools

Did take your advice from my previous thread though and went away from fitting a 135i exhaust!

Exhaust Tip Fitting - Cost

I've ordered a bmwp exhaust tip from BMW, and thought I'd ask for costing to see how much it would cost to fit..... .... 1-2 hours work required (minimum of 1 hour) @ a reduced rate of £87.50 /hour  :escape: Any ideas on how much I should be looking at? I was thinking 20 mins work tops, so £1...

Re: Are E81/E87 rear seats the same? plus armrest?

In answer to the second question.....yes they did, as I have a ski hatch. Although...the centre of the rear seat just comes away and isn't an armrest.

Re: 135i exhaust on 123d

Did you actually read my post? Yes, but at the time I didn't see anything that needed a reply  It's purely for aesthetic purposes. But I can't see how it would be more expensive than a bmwp, as the figures seem to work out at approx. £130ish all in for a 135i fitted with the valve on the box ...

Re: 135i exhaust on 123d

Interesting. Just wondering as someone else mentioned why not get tips added on to your existing setup? If the 135i exhaust makes it quieter, surely this will reduce flow? Just personal preference really, I know the 135i box fits ok and looks good. Had tips fitted previously and wasn't happy with t...

Looks
Exactly this, and just so it's an oem part and keeps the car looking standard.

135i exhaust on 123d

I appreciate this has been covered numerous times, and whilst I've seen lots of pics, I'm just trying to gauge what it sounds like - not much different from what I gather. So I'm trying to source a video or sound clip with one fitted to any of the 1er diesels. Has anybody uploaded one previously or ...

Re: N47D20

Did you mention the recall to them, as it's not a safety recall whereby they send details out in the post, but a quality enhancement recall, so most aren't advertising this and won't tell you over the phone. If you haven't, it's worth a call back, as the recall effectively is them acknowledging ther...

M Sport is the spec for the trim, not the engine. The engine in your 118d will be the same for all the trim levels, whether SE or M Sport, and essentially the same as the 120d and the 123d.

Re: N47 Timing chain RECALL

is everyone getting curtsey cars when they give theirs on for the enhancement? I did, but I also had to book it. Might be worth a phone call just in case. did you have to pay for it? ive read somewhere somebody was paying £15 a day, could of been a old post and unrelated.. I didn't mention it, but ...
