Re: e82 Front left brake locking completely then releases

Hi guys first post here and im hoping someone can help, A months ago it brought the typical ABS faults and such so I sent the pump away to be fixed, ever since getting it back and fitting it (it was gone quite a while!!) the car drives fine, with no warning lights but when I brake harsh enough for ...

Re: My 125i story

How does it work, without the concertina section? The engine should rock left to right when rev'd? No idea MP. I shall investigate, once I find someone to rev the engine I shall report back. Just had a cursory glance under the bonnets There’s enough movement in the air box to allow movement left an...

Re: My 125i story

From memory when I fitted my Mishimoto intake I thought 10mm more length would have meant it fit better. To fit I loosened my airbox, connected both ends of the silicone intake so that there was loads of overlap and then bolted the airbox back in place. The airbox is slightly less central in its bu...

Re: My 125i story

was long enough you didn't have to stretch it for a comfortable fit? Pervert lol No, no stretching can be achieved no matter how hard you pull it, you can squash it easily between your fingers but you can’t elongate it. And did you do it in situ without removing the Airbox etc? No, no other parts w...

Re: My 125i story

Fitted the Mishimoto intake boot last night and was fairly easy to fit once it was in position. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190116/0be830c960222d58ed4b8692abb0b1e1.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190116/6336527798ae497961530c2dda3a5dbf.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190116/3fd...

Re: Could be on my way back....

Question for the forum - I'm on the fence about the colour choice. Estorial Blue or Sapphire Black? The reason for my indecision is that I love the blue in general but the black does pretty mean with the Maxton body kit on, with the black grills and darker shadow edition front and rear lights. What...

135i Exhuast for 125i

This old thread i was reading mentioned a shop had to do some welding etc, which is fine imo. What is the best way to find one of these boxes? I having been regularly checking eBay and gum tree. Are WTB (want to buy) posts allowed anywhere on this forum? It’s just keeping your eyes open and keep ch...

Re: 135i Exhuast for 125i

Hello everyone! Been researching upgrading the stock exhaust on my 125i coupe to the 135i, can anyone just confirm for me that its a straight swap? Also, how much are these exhausts worth? Just the box / axel back part? I added the 135 stock box to my 125i and then I got hold of a 135i BMWP backbox...

Re: My 125i story

Thanks guys that’s most kind. It’s been a long road to get where it’s at now with plenty of mistakes, changes and alterations along the way. How much you may ask have I spent? Well I’ve just given my insurance company the full list of mods and the cost to replace them like for like.....almost as muc...

Re: E81/E82/E87/E88 Photo thread

New to this forum, from Holland :) Polished my car today. Still some scratches that need more attention but didn't have time left. It already looks 10 times better then before. Love it when you see the difference you're making during polishing! Will make better pictures when dry and sunny, I promis...

Yeah unless you know what you’re doing I’d get them done by Pro Calipers. Probably cheaper in the long run lol
