Re: Limit button

Can confirm I definitely have both Cruise Control and LIM on my Sep 14 build M135i. (And of course the speed limit 'bong' warning - set to 100 and goes off more often than it really should...) The LIM function is useful for driving in unfamiliar areas where you suspect there may be a camera as it le...

Re: Indicator Speed

The indicator speeding up is a legal requirement to tell you that one of your indicator bulbs is out (including the side repeaters). Interesting point you make there Gez, is it actually a legal requirement? You may be well be correct, but I've not heard that before. I assumed the bulbs just flashed...

Re: M135i vs Rivals

M135i versus Transit Van :D I got roped in to helping a family member pick up their new hardwood garden table and chairs from Argos last week. I parked up outside the door, hazards on and she emerged with two burly chaps carrying these 3 massive flatpacked boxes. Got the hatchback up and the rears ...

Re: WOW, I did not know that...

Did you know you can knock the auto from drive to neutral and back again without pressing the shift button while moving, also when parked with your foot on the brake. I wonder if that will toggle it from Manual back into Automatic? Might solve a load of aggro for those of us with AT. Something to t...

Gents, A really good meet! Brilliant bacon roll and coffee! Crafty, you put this together so many thanks. Such an injustice you couldn't make it, but all being well, it would be great to do again. Blind Pugh, thanks for the offer. I'll PM some time soon about the costs and easy of implementation et...

Re: Instrument black panel and driving modes

As Dan says, you may be able to deselect the turn instructions from the Nav settings, but don't forget you can press the button on the end of the stalk to select a different OBC display such as MPG, fuel range etc. As far as driving mode indications go, Comfort is the default so there is no real nee...

Re: Rear Parking Sensor Help

Hi all, just curious i have just picked up an 116D sport with rear parking sensors. The issue i seem to be having is that when you reverse and the sensors start to make a noise this does not stop until you turn the car off or move off again? is this the norm? or something a miss here I'm not seeing...

Re: Traction Issues - Am I doing something wrong?!

+1. Comfort is all gentle and serene as you push the pedal down, and the its WHOA!!! Everything at once.
Sport is better for feeding the power in and matching with available traction.

Re: Traffic lights and the auto box

It's easily coded off or remembers last position. Worth every penny especially since the cable costs £20 Where do you get the cable? And what about the software? Head over to the Coding section my friend. Plenty of threads there with vehicle specific advice. Fleabay for the cable, and the software ...
