Re: Skint
It is terrible that people do go hungry in this day and age - genuine cases I mean not the others as discussed On the point re Conservatives and still blaming Labour, that was 8 years ago, I think the opportunity to keep blaming Labour passed a while ago. The current bunch of tossers in government a...

Re: Sub £100 wireless router
There is no need to replace the entire WIFI router / modem side of things. In some ways it offers you more choice an better devices if you dont do this. I have Sky and use their device for the 'connection' side of it then output the WAN port to a TP-LINK Wireless router which offers 802.11AC and so...

Re: Sub £100 wireless router
I literally (Friday) just got my Archer VR600 from Amazon, within 5 mins it was set up and replaced my BT Homehub 5 (sh*te) Had nothing but trouble with the Homehub wifi, constant drop outs requiring on average 2 channel resets/changes per day. 5ghz just doesn't work on them and BT refuse to admit i...

Re: ANOTHER attempted theft
Same advice I give to everyone. Disklok is the most cost effective deterrent 3-star locks are the most cost effective preventative fix. Edit: Removing and replacing a disklok twice a day would be far less of a pain than constantly shuffling around cars Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk This. Eve...

Re: Potential M140 attempted theft today
Just to add to the rants here - The whole thing is just depressing when thought about You work hard, pay tax on your earnings which are supposed to provide public service (police etc), you then pay a lot of money to get a car you really want, paying VAT and God knows what other taxes on that - suppo...

Re: Anyone else trying to sellat the moment?
Got my m135i for sale atm and finding selling it a bit more tricky than expected, had it for sale a few weeks with only one call with a low ball offer. Its a mint car with great spec in a good colour combo and for sale at what i think is a good price. Was wondering if it’s probably just this time o...

Re: Weird resale question, "poverty spec" M135i LCI
Without trying to sound too obvious keeping it looking good with a low as possible mileage will always help. When I bought my z4m I had a choice of 2 cars, I opted for the more expensive one that had less kit on it simply because the mileage was lower and it was in better overall condition. Motoris...

Re: Beware the price crash...
There are a huge amount of cars now being driven around on PCP, where the car is being financed as cheaply as possible on a monthly basis. With no likelihood of it ever being purchased or gaining any significant equity. It is effectively renting. But it allows the 'owner' to drive a far more presti...

Re: Second set of alloys for winter tyres
I certainly understand the case for steel wheels for the winter but having only recently collected my car, I'm loathe to switch off the ferric grey alloys which I think look great with the car (Estoril blue). Are you not a fan of the 436m's then Tricky401? Like you Shadak, I'm thinking it is easier...

Re: Your next car?
I've just taken delivery (Monday night) of my new E-Class - got a great lease deal on an E220d SE - switched to this after the A6 I ordered showed no signs of arriving any time soon. Big change from the M135 but loving it so far, so relaxing to drive with the auto and great suspension etc Not a 'dri...

Re: Standard HiFi v HK, my experince.
Having had a number of standard sound system 1 series courtesy cars I wouldn't call it "little" in extra sound quality tbh.
The standard system is one of the worst I think I've heard in a car particularly given the 1 series positioning as a more premium hatch.
