Re: M240i PCP Deal AND what those options cost per month

Some great deals here for sure! I wanted to know if anyone has actually gone through the PCP process with BMW all the way through to getting their next car/paying the balloon payment etc? Are these offers shown here through the BMW Select finance, which give you the alternative options at the end o...

Re: TRL Calculator

Fantastic work Yeti! So useful for anyone new to the world of PCP/Finance. Could there be an option/tab for M135i's by any chance or are they no longer on offer?

Thanks

Re: Hello from Farnborough area!

So when you guys talk about TRL deals, do you only get the deals on a brand new car or their used cars too? And what sort of 'Deal' are we talking, roughly how much discount on pcp/pch?

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

Re: 125d or 135i?

Awesome, thanks for the replies. Well I'd be dropping from a 40 min M40, to a 20 min A34 commute so it would have to be the 135 really!? To be fair that's what I've been looking at more 8) My budget will hopefully be around 17k, okay amount for one? Also, any tips on extras (spec) I should look for?...

125d or 135i?

Hey guys, Haven't been on for a while after my 120d had terminal engine damage late last year. Anyway I'm looking at potentially getting another car if I can secure a new job I'm after. As the title states I'm looking at a 125d or potentially a 135i, my question's are: For those of you who own a 135...

Re: 2007 120D M-Sport Engine Unsalvageable, advice needed

Okay so the dealer I bought it from have come back to say the engine's unsalvageable and would need a replacement. But it has all come from the timing chain being out and skipping causing this internal damage! So my question is now where do I stand with BMW? Can I call them and explain or have my d...

Re: 2007 120D M-Sport Engine Unsalvageable, advice needed

Thanks for the replies guys, Well they said they'd love to do the work in which I replied 'I bet you would for 7k!' Yeah he gave me a quote with and without things like new throttle body/turbo etc and while it's cheaper it's still too expensive! Got in touch with the dealer I bought it from and obvi...

2007 120D M-Sport Engine Unsalvageable, advice needed

So after being towed to my local garage and given the news that there were several issues, one being with a glow plug. Under further inspection turns out that it's gone into the engine causing more issues than originally thought and they think it's unsalvageable and needs replacing. http://i1148.pho...

Re: Broke down last night - potential 2007 N47 timing chain

You've got nothing to lose by trying to get the dealer you purchased it from to pay for the work. Even though you are technically outside the warranty they may offer some sort of goodwill gesture. For the cost of a phone call its worth asking. Did you buy from a BMW main dealer ? No not from a main...

Re: Broke down last night - potential 2007 N47 timing chain

Out of curiosity, did you have the quality enhancement done at BMW yet, regarding the timing chain tensioner? Since yours is a 2007 model it should be on the list. No I haven't, but I did see the thread on it and that some cars were recalled? Could I approach BMW once my car's fixed about it do you...

Re: Broke down last night - potential 2007 N47 timing chain

Okay so they diagnosed the fault and said there's an issue with the valve on cylinder number 4 and linked with that is a throttle issue? They said they can get it over to local garage that they recommend (Wordwide Automotive, Frech & German specialists). Do I contact BMW to see if they'll do it or d...
