Re: Steering wheel detailing

I use Auto Finesse leather cleaner sprayed on a microfiber and wipe round the wheel then flip the mf over and wipe any excess off.

I do this every time I do the interior and it seems to do the trick.

Re: Best liquid car wax?

If I were you I would forget the sealant. Detail; wash, (Decon + wash again), polish, glaze, wax. Maintenance wash; wash, dry, (maybe wax again if it's been a while), detailer spray (I would use Sonax BSD). I would only bother with a sealant if your paint has been machine polished and is in great co...

Re: Best liquid car wax?

Fez i think your mixing things up a little. Sealants should be used on bare paint unless the product your using is designed to go under a sealant otherwise it wont bond properly. You would not apply a glaze over a sealant, there is no point. Britemax have a couple of good products - virtue - it fil...

Re: Best liquid car wax?

With all waxes, a little goes a long way, and it's better to do 2 costs rather than slapping it on as its a nightmare to buff off. Out of interest I was led to believe a sealant was best used on bare clean paint, i.e. Without any polish or glaze, to allow it to adhere properly. I'd be interested to ...

Re: Bangernomics -help me choose

What size car are you after? Family wagon or small hatchback?

I've always liked the Clio 182, and they are very capable of keeping up with bigger cars in the twisties.

Re: Pre-Wash without pressure washer

Surely prevention is the best way.

Get a good layer of protection on it from the start (wax or sealant) and it should make cleaning easier until you get your hands on a pressure washer.

Re: BMW M4 Competition Pack - Q2 PCP Offer REVISED 0% APR

The offer is pretty good, pity the M4 CP isn't. What's the problem with the M4 Comp if you don't mind me asking? I'm debating buying an M3 and can't decide to whether to go for the standard F80 or the Comp pack. Yours is the second comment this week I've seen expressing dissatisfaction with the CP,...

Re: Electric seats...? Vs manual positions

electric seats tend to be higher than the manual seats, when set at they're lowest position, due to the motors underneath.

Worth knowing if you like a low driving position.

Re: Wash mitt

I use a GYEON - Q2M Smoothie which I love, but the above suggestions are also very good one's ...thanks, got one last night and used it - seems to work pretty well. I kept the knackered old 'Jack Charlton' one too for the sills etc. Glad that worked for you. Yeah I use an older wash mitt for the si...

Re: Bluespark Tuning Box

So I'm 24 hours in with the Bluespark and the added performance is very impressive, the only thing is the steering now feels very light in Comfort and only a little heavier in Sport. I don't mean when accelerating either as that would be understandable it just seems very light even at slow speeds. W...
