Re: Trade-in help

Try Tootle www.tootle.co.uk +1 I just sold (assuming the dealer doesn’t bail before the collection on Monday) my wife’s XC60 on tootle. We got £17,900 as opposed to the £17,300 WBAC offered. My best WBAC quote was £15,900 for my M135i but got £17,100 through Tootle. The whole process was painless.

Re: Three years and 29,000 miles- now sold

Shame you feel this way but garaged and good security I'm confident the thieves would move to an easier target. Just be aware, thieves target all vehicles of all values for different reasons. Most newer expensive cars are generally taken to be 'broke' and parts sold on. None of our cars are safe so...

My M135i was in negative equity until the last payment.

Re: Three years and 29,000 miles- now sold

Thanks for all of the replies, I have just got home. The V90 is a completely different beast and massive! The in car tech is very impressive and pilot assist (semi autonomous) takes a little while to get used to but works very well. Yes the thieves have won this time but not in the long run I will g...

Three years and 29,000 miles- now sold

Ok the title lied a little, I have owned the Mlite for just under three years and covered 29,000 very enjoyable miles. In that time I have been through one full set of tyres, had another two replaced (screws!) and averaged 28 MPG. It is by far the most capable daily driver I have owned and whilst it...

Re: Tyre choices Pilot sport 4 vs Super sports

I fitted Pilot Sport 4s last week and have done around two hundred miles on them. Drove to Sheffield this morning (more on that in another thread later) and used the snake pass. On dry tarmac with decent heat in them there was a little more understeer than there would have been on the Super Sports ...

Re: Tyre choices Pilot sport 4 vs Super sports

I am handing my car back to BMFS at the end of May mainly due to the break in we had and it being a pain parking the car at my parents! My front tyres desparately need changing so I was going to put Pilot Sports 4 on, on the basis of cost as I can get them for just under a £100 per tyre. Now in the...

Re: Who else would be tempted after the M lite

As it goes 477 a month for the rs3 is in my opinion a very good price. Yet place road tax, insurance on top and I'd imagine you'd be close to 600 quid a month before fuel. Once upon a time I'd have been up for it but as life changes, priorities change and income differences then I'd have to pass. I...
