Re: Leaky front left adaptive damper

Should you want xdrive version of the B16 Damptronic kit, i believe you need this part number: 49-255980 See the following: https://www.bilstein.com/uk/en/blog/perfect-replacements-bilstein-announces-damptronic-components-for-bmw-1-series-to-4-series/ https://www.babybmw.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=74...

Re: Leaky front left adaptive damper

Yeah, I feel like the leak was caused by switching to H&R springs. Before that, there was no sign of leaks or anything of the sort. How do the Bilstein B4's work with H&R springs? Any knowledge/experience on that? I wouldn't know, but 25mm is quite a bit lower and I would have thought would cause p...

Re: Leaky front left adaptive damper

Hi I needed to replace both OSF and OSR adaptive dampers and have just ordered the Bilstein B4 Damptronic units. I did consider B6, but thought better of it as wanted to retain a comfortable ride for family journeys. Reason for going B4 over OEM is that the Bilsteins should be better controlled and ...

I have MPS-4S' all round on my 624m 19inch wheels and they are fantastic. Much better than the MPSS' for cold and wet grip.

Re: All-Weather Floor Mats (Std, Sport, Modern Line) for M235i

sorry to dig up an old thread but did you manage to get the ones with the red edging for your 235i? I like you was looking for some but they don't seem to do the front ones. Anyone with them in? if so any pics? No, they only do black standard ones for Front on RHD cars. They do them for LHD cars in...

Re: CONFIRMED: Bilstein Dampers for Adaptive F2x

Good to know! On the passive B12, B14 and B16 kits though it's only the front shocks that are mono inverted, rears are still twintube albeit in better form?

Re: CONFIRMED: Bilstein Dampers for Adaptive F2x

They are still twin tubes as well. So you are basically getting a B6 DampTronic damper with height adjustment on the body, and a set of progressive springs. Doesn't mean this particular set wont be good but I'm glad I went for the passive monotubes. My experience of using twin tubes (they were not ...

I’ve used Iridium in Southampton before - very good.
I second that, I've used Iridium for years now. They've done most of the work and services on our F11 530d and my previous 335i. Moved location now to Hedge End from their previous site.

Re: 4 year service cost

I tend to keep my cars for a long time. I kept my 335i for 7 years and having BMW FSH wouldn't have raised the value of the car beyond what I sold it for. Anyone worth their salt would see past the BS that is BMW FSH. My local Indy with original BMW parts does a much better job than any dealer. Yes ...

Re: 4 year service cost

My Major service on my late 2015 M235i in October this year at about the same mileage was £375 from my local indy and that included iDrive update. My local dealer wanted £650.

Re: Mlite specific Lower Control Arms (LCA)

For those that are interested ... lol The OEM Mlite LCA's are TRW not Lemforder. looking at ebay germany one can see the BMW part is a TRW that shows identification with 6852991 and 6857329!! https://www.ebay.de/itm/BMW-F20-F21-F23-Schwenklager-inks-Radnabe-mit-Lager-Querlenker-6792285-6852991/27403...

Have found that Optimal have part numbers specific to our cars: Front Left LCA: 31106857329 - Optimal G5-907 Front Right LCA: 31106857330 - Optimal G5-908 Unfortunately not able to find a supplier for these. https://www.optimal-germany.com/docs/default-source/catalogues-documents/wbm-3001a.pdf?sfvrs...

Re: Yet ANOTHER M4 LCAs thread!

Rejimbo good find! For some reason I didn't find the Lemforder part. It's not even listed in their PDF Catologue, even though the M3/4 LCA's are. Looks like the difference is just the maufacturer. The optimal PDF catolgue shows they are specific to the M4 TS'. So... Front Left TS: 31122284531, or Op...
