Re: M140i F20 PPF first impressions

From what other people have said I imagined it would have a harsh ride The problem with the standard suspension is not that it's harsh: you could say it falls between the comfort and sport settings of the adaptive suspension set up. However, that wouldn't really capture the difference, as the real ...

Re: Warming up

Yes B58 engined cars have a fancy heat management/pump, amazingly quick heat from the vents no need for heated seats even! No need for heated seats, yikes, could hardly sit on mine a couple of weeks ago when I sat in to start the car a couple of weeks ago, when we had that cold snap! Besides, you n...

Re: BMW Advanced Car Eye 2

For what it's worth, Blackvue offers wifi connection at home, so long as you're in range of your wifi router. The older model was a bit flaky, and only offered 10 minutes per day for free. Don't know if this has been improved.

Re: Loan V PCP - What am I missing here?!

Used cars and PCP are totally different to a brand newun because you have dodged the first year/drive out the showroom depreciation lolly... It is not the same that's why yours works out better for a used car... "and PCP". PCP on used cars, yes. Otherwise, whether you buy new with cash or PCP, it's...

Re: Sunroof

I'll leave the subject of sunroof weight and impact on 7/10ths driving to chris harris :starwars: ; but for me having a sunroof sometimes makes the car, no more so than the autumn, with the blower on a gentle heat, the heated seats and heated steering wheel on, and listening to your fave tracks. It'...

Re: Ride quality and general BMW vfm

Jonaldo - I did look at your other posts, tbh, and this comment did look out of place for you. I felt in fact that your comment was a bit of an over reaction to my knock at the car's suspension. I should have either ignored it, or simply explained my statement in the way that docwra has put it. :thu...

Re: Protective tape / ceramic coating

In a couple of weeks time our 5dr M140i is going in to have protective tape "helicopter tape"and ceramic coating applied. Would love to hear where others think the protective tape should be applied to reduce paint damage, obviously being expensive we want to keep the amount of tape used to as littl...

Haha very happy thanks. Is it me or is this getting personal? I'll try not to correct any of your future posts if this is how you react.
Plenty of forums out there for trolling mate. By and large this forum isn't the place.

Re: Ride quality and general BMW vfm

Haha 7/10th's! Wow, what does that even mean? http://racetrackdriving.com/concepts/tenths-scale/#7-10 Happy to help. Yes you have helped me prove my point. Thank you. This is a track scale of drivers ability to push on, on a track. Nothing to do with the cars damping/handling characteristics. 👍 I'v...
