Re: floor mats 2018 m140i

As above, mats should come with round velcro fittings with small stalks that hold the mat in place. I use weathertechs. Bit expensive but they have moulded sides that protect the sidewall carpets https://www.weathertecheurope.com/uk/floorliner-digitalfit/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=...

Re: Console Dials - Name?

The term "full back panel" simply refers (on both) to what you are describing as the 'half panel' on the original dials. That is, both have same-size panel beneath the rev counter dial. The only difference in the panels, as far as I'm aware is the availability of a readily accessible temp readout on...

Re: PCP Break Even Point

It doesn't make any difference to the bottom line where the contributions come from. The BMW direct offer is still over £2k more expensive than buying via PCP from a dealer who will discount. You're very often totally on the mark (:-), but on this you're totally missing the point! It wasn't a convo...

Re: PCP Break Even Point

I was looking at this? https://offers.bmw.co.uk/finance-offers/result/?offerCode=cabed3ca-3589-4725-b0ef-53a21a87aaf9 Yes - but you don't get any additional discount buying directly via that route. £6482 doesn't compare well to the combined dealer and BMW FS contributions which are nearer to £9k. h...

Re: PCP Break Even Point

Have you noticed the terms have changed from guaranteed future value to optional final payment. My deal has a fairly high gfv as it’s an early shadow edition but they are coming in at £12.9k now for final payment. Residuals have taken a hiding due to oversupply. Last payment has always been called ...

Configurator

Is it just me or have the mlites disappeared from the configuator? I was thinking about minor option updates, but with the 1 series soon to be discontinued, this can't be the case. Odd it should be both the 1 and the 2.

Fair enough, good info, I've only ever used Carly, so rather assumed you'd be able to do it with Bimmercode.

Re: Extended Interior Light Package

Apologies for digging up an old thread, was wondering if anyone had successfully retro fitted this light to cars without it, is the wiring still there to plug into? My logic is I can't see BMW designing out the wiring for it from the look and that they maybe (hopefully) just stopped fitting the lig...

Re: open console cup holders (hate them)

the inserts look just as rubbish too! My car came with the inserts, which I prefer for one simple reason: I'm a vaper! The inserts "dresses up" the space, while giving me a space where I can keep putting and taking out my vaping mod in vertical position [emoji16] I like the inserts as well. They ha...

Re: Decisions decisions

I think m2 residuals look pretty good to be honest. In fact it's one of the reasons I'm even considering the car. Cheapest car for sale is 30k, for a car that would have been mid 40s 3 years ago? That's brilliant Imho. Granted buying a brand new lci just before the comp came out might sting a bit b...

Too add, no blameable with the greyband for night pictures either; and yes, it really help to hide the cam.

Re: Dashcam Recommendations ?

I’m getting a BlackVue 590W-2ch installed on Wednesday, firstly, has anyone had any experience with this product? and secondly has anyone fitted a dash cam with the grey shade band on the windscreen? Looking at Locoblade’s previous post I quite like the idea of hiding it, but that would mean sticki...
