Btw, what is an AUC car?

AUC= Approved Used Car.

Used cars that BMW dealers sell that meet the criteria and quality for a BMW warranty.

As above, half of them won't have star marked BMW tyres. You'll likely find many have cheap tyres fitted..

Re: One to avoid

Whilst buying new has hit my wallet pretty hard with depreciation...the feeling of knowing for certain the car has not been bent, stolen, thrashed or abused in anyway is a good one. You'd be surprised how many cars are damaged in transit. I wouldn't bet on someone not having a little boot of it bef...

Re: Star marked tyres? Where to buy?

I don't think they'll be BMW star marked. They aren't the factory fit/designed tyre for Mlites.

Re: One to avoid

How many people wouldn't insure a car like this fully comp?

Doesn't a PCP deal require fully comp insurance? Aren't you required to show this at pick up?

There is something not making sense. Any track day crashes caught on camera recently?

That can't be worth that much with that level of damage.

Re: Thinking of selling

Winter tyres are normally much softer and quieter. The Goodyears will be somewhere in the middle. I've been using winters since about 2005 on various cars, and they've always been noisier than the summers (I thought it was due to the bigger/deeper tread blocks) ... until I got the M140i with the MP...

Re: Non BMW approved tyres invalid your warranty!

What a lot of garbage.

Have a look on their forecourt and ask why many of the AUC they are selling don't have approved tyres.

Re: M140i First Service Cost?

Some dealers do the first service for £230-240. There really isn't much to it.

Re: Anyone recognise this car?

I went into https://www.sytner.co.uk From all 11k cars I found just a few but... Stolen/Recovered (Almost no Damage, tiny scratches) - 3 cars Can N Write-off - 1 car Used/Unrecorded - 2 cars Below Tesla is Used/Unrecorded sale so HPI would never had it in their DB: https://www.sytner.co.uk/car-sear...

Got to be a typo surely?
Either price is incorrect or it’s not a Competition.

Re: PCP Break Even Point

I VT’d my M135 in November and did it at the 50% of the total value mark. I was over my mileage allowance and had to pay what they called a “discounted fee”. Thanks to my lovely wife, the car also had scuff marks on the front bumper and three kurbed wheels and a car park dent on the front passenger...
