Re: First B58 app flash tool?

Granted the overall price to get into the Beta is cheaper than any other flash tune options, but it still feels counter intuitive to pay a relatively unknown company to test their product for them at the risk of your own vehicle.

Re: Burning smell and smoke

So now it's been into my local mechanic we've discovered the valve/cam cover gasket is leaking and it's leaking onto the downpipe etc. making the nasty smell. Has anyone ever changed theirs before and have they used patent parts or genuine BMW? Where's the best place to get one from? Interesting. I...

I know this will have been asked before, but what would you expect a standard M2 with just a remap to achieve?
Slightly more than a stock M2 Comp

Re: Tyre choices for 8.5J ET42 square setup

Car looks like it's crying out for lowering. Any idea if Eibachs would cause rubbing with the new wheel and tyre setup?

What are you using currently?

I'd start around 33psi all round, see how that feels for a week?
34 all around at the moment.

Re: Tyre choices for 8.5J ET42 square setup

Any recommendations with regards to tyre pressures to run? Completely out of spec on the wheel/tyre combo versus what BMW recommends for their OEM 19's setup so I'm a bit puzzled as to what I should be running. Looks superb, can you give me the link please? I've tried 225x35 tyres on 8,5 ET42 rims: ...

Re: JB4 Logs/issues

Why would you start on Map3 though? You should always start on the least aggressive map and work your way up while logging to establish what suites your particular car/fueling situation best. Chances are the car is pulling a shedload of timing out of the map and/or throttle is being cut severely du...

Re: Cold start increased revs

With the B58 yes. With your ex N55 equipped car it would only do it when coolant temps are below a certain threshold.

Re: Setting off when car is cold

Common "issue". I had the same thing on my M135i and now on the M240i. Doesn't appear to be anything to be concerned about, but I concur that it can be somewhat annoying. Best thing to do is be patient and let the cold start procedure finish completely before setting off.

Re: F21 Harman Kardon door tweeters

Buy the HK in-door speakers as well if you're not comfortable splicing as the tweeters can be directly plugged into them Thanks for the help guys! Will these Hk tweeters plug into the existing loom in the door? https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F20184...
