Re: Gauge/Dial Light Colour

I can't remember his name, but there is a guy around Heathrow that will change all the lights in the car for about £120, or just the gauge cluster for about £40 to any colour you like!

Re: M135i exhaust

I found a custom y pipe instead of the back box made an awesome sound with not a lot of drone, at a certain RPM there was a slight drone, but nothing that I couldn't live with! The M135i doesn't have a centre resonator so no need with that. If you are thinking about changing the cat, it does get ver...

No problems. I'm not actively selling it, so no pressure, and you have 'dibbs'.
Aww thanks :) I will most likely buy it, sooner it's fixed the better

Re: Louder Startup?

Not really after anything like that at the moment, was hoping there was more something I could do software wise... cars only 2 days old  If you don't have it already, maybe a more serious option would be looking at the MPE (M Performance Exhaust) gives the car a nice tone and will make it loud...

Re: Differential bearing noise

You're looking at the BMWP Drexler LSD then. I have a nearly new M135i diff I could sell (1,000 careful miles on it), if you do need a mint one to rebuild into a Quaife. How much would you be looking to sell it for? I'd be after £300, being in such minty condition. I'm in S.E London. There's a used...

So I need a short term rent for about 4 months in the Watford area. Does anyone have any advice? Air B&B is an option but wondered if there were any alternatives?
Moving down near me are you? :)

Hi all,

I was just wondering if there was a way to get my M140i even louder on startup?

Thanks

Re: Differential bearing noise

Another resurrection for this thread, but once the bearing noise is there, how long do I have before it goes completely? Mine has started to whine, got a bit of weeping around the seal (I'm making sure that the oil is full as to prevent further damage) Issue being I am off to the lake district soon...

Re: Geoff's M135i - Build Thread (Pic Heavy)

Time for an update on the coilover situation! Meister R managed to get me the coilovers in time for the bank holiday weekend - got them delivered to my work and they sat there for a couple of days calling my name, shouting, 'fit me... fit me' which made the rest of week drag like a b*tch! http://geo...

Re: BMW did a number on my alloys

OMG. This just made me cringe. I have a slow puncture that needs to be repaired and I am stressing at the thought of anyone touching my alloys lol I have a place near me that has one of those auto machines, means a hand will never touch the alloy, always ask them to use that! Might be worth having ...

Re: BMW did a number on my alloys

That is awful, you can tell how they've done it and it's just lack of attention/rushing!
