Re: BMW M2 Competition

Hey Charlie 👋 That’ll be TRL you’ll be looking for mate  Did you ever manage to resolve the traction issues you suffered at Pod last year??? Bish Hello mate :) No, not really. Although I think it's mostly down to the tyres. I'm gonna get some 888's or something similar next time they need cha...

BMW M2 Competition

Sooooo, finaly an M2 is going to come out with a decent engine and I am actually in love! After toying with the idea of a c63 this year (ended up buying a c250 cdi coupe) I had decded there were actually no modern cars I was interested in. I love the M4 engine, but I hate the shape of the M4. The M2...

Nope, no Combox unfortunately Chuck... :(
I keep forgetting I’ve posted here.

It must have been the later cars that came with combox then. I’m thinking of retrofitting it into mine.

It’s been too wet to drive the car here in Suffolk. Certainly too wet to test/log a new map!

Re: Inner rear arches (also, I am back :) )

Lol. It does get a lot of love. Hopefully it’ll keep it in good shape for the future. I cleaned up a lot of the underside when I done the clutch, but the rear suspension looks grotty and let’s it down, hence me wanting to get it tidied up. I make that Sunday the 8th, sadly either way I will be at wo...

Inner rear arches (also, I am back :) )

Well, it’s been a hectic few months and the car has been on the back burner for me, I even considered selling at one point but then remembered how much I love it. Been renovating a house and it’s literally taken every hour that I’ve not been working. Anyway, this post is just a little advice one for...

Re: To sell, or not to sell.

Get some subframe bush inserts, m3 arms for the front and some of THETYRANT's camber plates and the handling will be transformed. The chassis even with the engine in standard form isn't great to be honest. Adding those bits will make it much more fun in the twisty bits. If I was doing it all again ...

Re: To sell, or not to sell.

It's not the snow and ice that bothers me, it's wet roads. Even dry roads. Certainly in wet weather you can happily spin the wheels at 70mph... but here's my thoughts. I have a seriously fast car, that I can only get the best out of on straight roads, in the dry, whilst already moving. At which poin...

To sell, or not to sell.

So I'm toying with the idea of selling my beloved car. It's not a done deal yet by any means, but I'm thinking about going back to something 4wd because rwd is really not fun in the winter and I'm wondering about an Audi ttrs. Does anybody have any experience with these? I would be looking at an s-t...

Re: Anybody running drag radials? And what's the smallest wheel size that fits over my brakes?

Drag slicks would fix your problem for sure. You may not need them though, if you got the same 60 ft time you'd be well into the 12's? Tyre do seem the obvious answer, Pirelli are pretty good though, when were they manufactured? Great top speed for the mods :) This is my thoughts. I was really aimi...
