Re: Is it sensible to buy a 5dr M135i with a new baby on the way?

Mrs has a 120d thar fits two kids 7 and 8 in the back. It can be a squeeze especially if the front passengers are tall. I'd recommend going for a 335d or something along those lines. Far more space all around for a family..

Re: New wiper blades?

Just a heads up, I’ve ordered a set of Geunine BMW Wiper Blades for F21/22 from EBay (PristinePortadownBMW). To add to the wiper manufacturers debate, I’ve had Bosch on mine for a while and they are terrible, lots of smears even after claying the screen etc... Link: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genui...

I am tempted to try original BMW ones as their eBay store has a set for my E81 on offer at £35.82.
I would mate. That isn't much more than Bosch etc to start with either. Least you'll know they'll not give you any probs :)

Re: Torque Pro App

Anybody tried this app on Android? I'm guessing it's not going to be massively accurate specially with the 0-60 and 1/4 mile etc but thinking of trying it, What's everyones thoughts on it who have it? Had it for years, it's a very polished app and has worked flawlessly in all the cars I've used it ...

Re: New wiper blades?

That includes windscreen. By applying the alcohol to the windscreen, you've created a surface on the windscreen that is completely free of any sealants and any lubricating properties they may have provided, which means friction is high and you create juddering. Funny that, Since changing back to th...

Clean, clayed, windscreen polish even white sprit to clean off any wax or sealent that could have got on there from shampoo etc the others still juddered like mad lol That includes windscreen. Re: Stone chip touch up

I hate touching stone chips up. I find no matter how little you use, Brush or cocktail stick/toothpick etc it is near impossible to get it on with out it going blob like.. I got this from the motorway at the weekend. Other than your very minor ones you get, I Was gutted as this was the first I've ha...

Re: New wiper blades?

Shouldn't be using any white spirits or alcohol to clean the rubber. It will dry it and cause the juddering. The reason why windscreen cleaners are recommended over just water is that they contain a lubricant that prevents juddering. I'm not thick pal. Go back to my post, at what point did I say I ...

Re: New wiper blades?

Original BMW ones. Cost £51. Tried Bosch and Trico they did nothing but judder! Worse thing is with what I spent buying the Bosch and Trico blades I could have just bought the original BM ones to begin with. The original ones bend to the screen properly no issues. £51!  I've just repla...
