Re: 'Staggered' spacers

Hi Buddy,

On my car I had spacers fitted by Motech and i have 12mm on the front and 15mm on the rear.
The car has been lowered on Motech springs and all is good.
Car looks awesome with no rubbing grating etc

Re: Another jb4 question

Hi there, I had a JB4 on my M140 B58 engine and you are correct the door does not close properly. People modify the obd2 plug by cutting it down a bit which will let the door close properly. I didn't bother with mine as it didn't see to be a big problem it closes mostly. Do you have the JB4 already?

Well done a Peter,

They are some sweet numbers.

Will be coming to you soon for that rather tricky looking compressor wheel.

Excellent work.

Re: Brake Fluid

Hi, I thought that rbf600 was I'm able with standard brake fluid but I don't believe it is good practice to do so. Like what has been said before. Suck out old brake fluid from reservoir then refill with fresh fluid of your choice then bleed the system from the back right first then back left then f...

Re: Induction kits

Hi,

I think K&N do a panel filter which will fit.
To be honest the factory airbox on these cars is very efficient and not much to be gained from a full induction kit.

Happy hunting

Re: M135i brakes on 130i. Which braided hoses?

Hi there,

Have a look at the Goodrige brake hoses. You have the choice of Stainless as well as plated.
They may not be the cheapest but they have been making these things a long time.

Best of luck.

Re: Quick Question - Debadging

+2 for hair dryer and a plastic pry tool and masking tape so not to damage the paint work.

Isopropanol is the best for removing glue but watch your paint lots of water and polish after.

Good luck. :spotman:

Re: Carbon Fibre advice

Hi there,

Please please be careful you really should be wearing a mask with that stuff and definitely be wearing gloves with any type or Resin.

Only sand in one way and like the other reply say not against the grain.

Good luck with that.

I think you may struggle with that.

Have you tried looking at other manufacturers e.g. Pipercross and ITG

Good luck Stumps

Hi there,

I can totally reccomend Castrol SRF brake fluid it is amazing.
This along with the right pads will really do what you are after.
It's not cheap stuff but it really is good.
Good luck finding your right set up.

Hi there,

I have a M Performance on my M140i and they sound great. Once they have covered a few miles I think they sound even better. Yes I agree expensive but certainly gives you that grin factor :spotman: :spotman:
