Re: BMW E82 Coupé 120D M sport 177BHP - Modifications

If you opt for the b12 kit then you won't need bumpstops as they're included. Unless your clutch is slipping then I'd leave alone. Changing the cdv should only take a few minutes once you have located it. Shameless plug if you fancy a change of wheels  https://www.babybmw.net/forum/viewtopic.p...

Looks nice on the new wheels but she definitely needs lowering.
ALL cars look better when lowered a bit :)

Re: E81/E82/E87/E88 Photo thread

Thanks for the complement.
I've toyed with the idea but I don't mind these enough to warrant the expense. Would like a retrimmed steering wheel next but there might be a wait for that given the circumstances.

Re: What Did You Do To Your 1 Series Today?

Thank you both. They were long overdue to be honest and fitting the new wheels a few weeks ago made me realise they were letting the side down. Very happy with the outcome.

@JOsephx
Saw your post in another thread. Will endeavour to pop some up over the weekend.

Re: What Did You Do To Your 1 Series Today?

New brakes today. Figured as they were 13 years old it was a good excuse to upgrade the fronts to a newer setup. Purchased some reconditioned M140 callipers with new discs and pads and OE replacement discs and pads for the rear. https://i.postimg.cc/Z5RZV16d/20200326-173835.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/...

Re: Few pics of the 130i

Think I might have caused a bit of confusion here. Forgot you had your winter wheels on Mark. I was referring to the Ultraleggera you run in the nicer weather.
After a panicky night it seems my worries were misplaced. There's acres of room :D

Sorry for the late reply mate , I use a 10mm spacer but you can just use a slip on 3mm spacer , if your lucky they might just clear depends how thick the paint is.
Crikey didn't think it would be nip n tuck. Better ring the garage and ask them to spin a wheel first. Thanks for the info

Re: BMWP exhaust 130i wanted

Stopped producing them a while ago now. They do come up for sale but not very often I'm afraid. Most either have a custom box made or source a E82/88 135i back box. If you're minted there are options from Eisenmann or Superspint. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=http://www.eisenm...

Re: Few pics of the 130i

Hi Mark quick question if you don't mind.
Do you need spacers on the front for the wheels to clear the brakes?

I'm having the same set up fitted Thursday if we're not on lockdown! Don't want the garage to ring me and say the wheels won't turn
