Re: 8.5j and 9.5j fit!

Hi.

What is the thinking with the front 3mm spacer? Is that to clear the inner arch or brakes, or just to push the alloy out slightly further aesthetically?

Thanks in advance

Take it to BW Chiptune in Heathrow, an hour's labour and you're done.

Yes that, but also an MOT fail so make sure your summers are on for that if your winters don't have TPMS valves ...

I'd just buy them in this day and age...

Winter tyre sizes for the 245/35/18 rears

Hi folks, I'm really struggling to find many brands of winter tyre for the 245/35/18 rear tyre. The front is easy. I want to get Conti Wintersport 850s or 860s ideally, but they don't do this rear size. Has anyone got experience of trying to fit a 235/40 or 255/35 tyre on the back of the car? Was it...

If he can do it for that much more per month only it shows that perhaps you overpaid for your current one, but also that he really doing a decent deal there ..

What possible reason is there to not go for it? Get it done man !!!

Re: M135i - Surrey Rolling Road Results

That's a really good figure. I'm sure you could've gone to another RR company and gotten 400 easily, through them simply setting up the dyno wrong or over-compensating for drivetrain losses etc. You know with Surrey RR the readout is pretty damn accurate and 375 from a PWG N55 is really good... Cert...

Re: Plasti Dip exhaust

That looks great - I hope it holds up over time, but the effect right now is excellent. I might have just sprayed with some gloss black hammerite after lightly keying the chrome surface, but in theory this is more reversible.. I guess if it does peel off you can either re dip them, or choose at THAT...

Well you aren't technically an owner yet then :p

But glad to see you've bit the bullet? When's collection? What spec have you gone for?

:)

Re: Handover

Be firm.. Tell them to fix it properly and that you expect a car with no swirl marks or scratches IE a cosmetically new vehicle. Tell them that if they can't provide you a vehicle in new condition, you'll have to reject the car. Offer that if preferable, you can have a professional detailer look at ...

Re: What extras to ask for when buying a used car from a BMW dealer ?

That's great news! My point was to fight for the agreed price to be as good as possible and not accept some pony about they won't make anything on it etc etc and then push for protection or whatever But on that Bmw wanted 4 figures to apply protection to my bumper and wings, stupid! They also wanted...

Re: JB+ and best bmw code eraser

If you're worried about the codes you really want autologic or inpa to clear them properly... well into 4 figures for either and only sold to trade Carly et al are just not as good So why not get the full fat jb4 which is self clearing? Alternatively get a good independent such as bw Chiptune to run...

Re: M240i HK Seat Height Question

I find there to be a lot of depth with the electric seats it definitely goes a lot lower than I need and I'm 6 foot.

I can also drop it right to the floor and easily wear a crash helmet so it's fine for trackdays too

You get another inch maybe with fully manual of drop? I don't think you'd need it

M Performance Skirt Vinyls WITHOUT M Performance logo?

I love the visual appearance these give in terms of how it tricks the eye into thinking there is a wider rear arch flair. But I don't want the horrible M Performance lettering. Does anyone have a recommendation for a company that does, or could, cut some vinyls WITHOUT this lettering printed onto th...
