Re: Cleaning up the black window trim

Great job there. One thing that worked for me, by hand is this: https://www.carparts4less.co.uk/cp4l/p/-/-/-/-/?552996590&0&cc5_111& Simoniz chrome cleaner; on the bottle suitable for plastic. Basically a very fine abrasive polish, perfect on gloss black anything. Halfords had it for 6 quid. Was it...

Re: Cleaning up the black window trim

That does look an ideal product for the job. I should have added in my opener that the products I tried were one's I already have laying about.

Cleaning up the black window trim

Who's done it or attempted it? any success? Products used? Mine has been bugging me for a while, I like to keep the car clean, but these trims are letting it down! I usually use 95 but every 2-3 tanks I do a full tank of V-power not for added few hp but because of the adhesives to help clean the engine. It also pops more and louder on 99.
I use a splash of PVA for similar effect :D
That got a chuckle 😀
Thanks, I thought it was a tough crowd :P

Re: Roast my add

As long as it's well priced it will sell, but it will need to be cheap enough compared to dealers equivalent price to get interest. And auto trader ads are pretty expensive after a while aren't they.

Re: Roast my add

Looks good, but I imagine the majority in the market for the kind of car want finance options / warranty. Private sales over ~£10k gets tricky.
