Re: 2010 135i Coupe (E82)

Thanks! I'm happy with the look, especially once I got them spaced out slightly.

Re: PSS to PS4 and back to PSS

MPSS seem to be getting a slating lately. I am personally very happy with mine, just had rears replaced and the car feels great. I don't tend to push on to anywhere near the limits of grip in wet weather though so that could be why? I will probably try MPS4 next time though as I should be due to cha...

Re: How much better are MPS4 than MPSS in cold/wet conditions?

I find my MPSS excellent in cold weather and able to generate outstanding lateral grip in the wet. Only downside is they don't deal with standing water as well as the best tyres. The lateral grip has surprised me how good they are. Only time I have issues is trying to pull out of a junction briskly...

Re: M135i wheel clunk

This is a relief, I had this today. Also grip was noticeably poor today when accelerating from junctions.

Re: Dyno question

Thanks Jason, appreciate the help. I've looked to see what I can find regards to ramp rates for a 2rotor rotary shootout on the dyno compared to 6f but infornation is sparse. Could this also explain the 5k rpm holding to calibrate and wheel spin issues?

Re: Dyno question

Thanks for the info Jason, My car made 326 standard map with cat still in place, and 345 with MHD stage 1, these were back to back runs several months ago. Your graph has highlighted something to me, the shootout mode. 6F looks correct, as it's for 6 cylinder forced induction right? I notice my old ...

Re: Loan V PCP - What am I missing here?!

The main difference is you would probably struggle to get a personal loan for the amount needed for a new car.

But this is just comparing Used vs New. You prefer to save money and buy used, so in that case a loan works out best.

Re: 135I N55 boost pipe exploded

No need to remove the throttle body, I didn't even have to remove the airbox. The threads for the MAP sensor screws weren't tapped deep enough but a couple of washers fixed that. I was a little too cautious with the clamp for the silicon joiner to plastic intercooler pipe so the first time I hit pr...

Re: Dyno question

Thanks Jason, E82 135i N55.

Regarding matching the rollers to the engine RPM, does my experience sound normal? It appeared to take several attempts, and does it need to be 5K RPM?
