Re: PCP Confusion

This is why PCP is such a dangerous tool if the buyer is not absolutely on top of their figures. Overall purchase price of the vehicle is the key figure. Yep! Lesson learned. I was just having another look and I only put 1k deposit not the 3k listed above in my original post so I actually only paid...

Re: PCP Confusion

Please don’t take this as a definitive answer but to me it looks like your dealer has (if they can?) increased the final payment to bring the monthlies down to what you wanted instead actually of discounting the price of the car? Great way of making it more affordable however you are likely to be i...

Did you add the mpe into the finance? I don't think you've been too hard done by considering the spec of your car. At the end of the day if you were happy with the deal when you signed up then thats all that matters
Yes the MPE was added on to the deal as well

Re: PCP Confusion

In terms of monthlies then yes if you are happy with the payment but unfortunately I do feel you could’ve done a lot better deal wise (at least 20% off list with a balloon of approx 14k) but if it suited you at the time then I wouldn’t give it too much thought! I had one of the original m135i with ...

PCP Confusion

Hi Guys, I'm starting to feel like I've been screwed over on my PCP deal. I'm based in the north and took all the TRL pricing to my local dealer who matched it and I ended up with the same monthlies = Happy days. However, I keep seeing settlement figures from people who got cars at similar times and...

Re: I probably shouldn't have sold my M135i LCI

With the confirmation of the new generation AWD 4cyl, it's making them much more desirable. As somebody who has been looking for a couple of months, the majority of the cars are up around £1k from where they were last year. Definitely worth holding on to for a year or so and monitoring the market, ...

Re: Potential Card fraud at BMW dealership

Spoke to BMW this morning. They confirmed its agency staff and they’ve spoken to the person in question who has denied it and that’s where we are up to. They also informed their agency manager. It’s now in the hands of the bank who can hopefully get my money back and with a bit of luck share details...

Re: Potential Card fraud at BMW dealership

There is zero proof that anyone from BMW is responsible for the fraud this thread is full of presumptions That’s why I called it potential. The card hadn’t been used in over a month by my wife and had been accidentally left in my car which was found by someone at the BMW dealership and moved to the...

Re: Potential Card fraud at BMW dealership

I was about to say 35 transaction online should have set the bank's fraud prevention software haywire. Hopefully you get all the money back, but I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't pay you. You do need to take reasonable care of cards and details. I bet the bank won't want the police involved. T...

Re: Potential Card fraud at BMW dealership

Sorry to hear about this mate, that really sucks. Don't tell your bank this is what happened mind - they might try and blame you for this and refuse to refund.....let us know what BMW say! With it being debit I’m responsible but they said they will try to get a refund for me.. they spent £200 befor...

Re: Potential Card fraud at BMW dealership

The valeterrs are low paid contractors and not BMW staff so my nasal hairs of suspicion would be doing a jig... Haha made me chuckle and yes I thought they might be contract workers. I was already annoyed because the software update cocked up some functions and I told them not to wash it which left...

Re: M140i Pro Nav , is it really worth it ?

The sad thing is the BMW sat nav is pants even with the subscription traffic, so still end up using google maps on my smartphone for navigation. Get the business nav independently coded (£50) for enhanced bluetooth and you can have 2 phones connected, one bluetooth audio streaming, and also get tex...
