Re: Sale/finance Advice

Hey Glund, I get where your coming from as obviously I’m in the same boat. We currently have 3 cars in our household 1. M140i 2. X3 just delivered 3. Clio 200 (road legal track car) I was planning on keeping all 3 but I’ve been happy using the Clio as a run about and it’s made me realise we don’t ne...

Re: Sale/finance Advice

I can either pay £9,336 over 24 months and still be in negative afterwards, or get out now and into a lease and then in 24 months have a clean sheet with nothing owing. Confused? Do you have 24 months left on your PCP? If so how will you be in 'negative equity' when it comes to an end? You just han...

Re: M140i vs Golf R

I also own one of your previous cars a Clio 200 cup and for driving around twistes that 200 cup comes out winner in my book over the m140i and all other hot hatches I think.. Just a shame it’s so slow lol I've driven a 200 Cup around Spa. Hands down one of the most enjoyable cars on track I've driv...

Re: Sale/finance Advice

Same position as I am in. £28061 settlement £25500 offer Spec is near identical except Sunset Orange and Heated Steering Wheel without Front sensors. Also mine is on 5200 miles. As you have mentioned there is a big negative equity but realistically that won't get much smaller any time soon. I can e...

Re: Considering m135i to m140i Shadow Edition

Thanks for the replies guys  I really am on the fence about this. I know what you are saying about the depreciation on buying a new/nearly new m140i. Not great. But on the other hand the attraction of a shiny new toy is so tempting. Ah well, I suppose it's a nice dilemma to have! Im tryin...

Re: Sale/finance Advice

Thanks Guys! Not what I wanted to hear but I guess I’ll be chasing the negative equity for the forseeable future so I might as well get out now. @tricky I love the car but I also want to do a house extension and ditching the car will keep my outgoings sensible. My other logic is the house extension ...

Re: Real World MPG 118/120d

Def don't get Diesel! My wife has a 520D for short journeys and school runs and it was a big mistake. We are having to service the car about 8 months earlier than normal. I'm putting this down to all the short runs she's doing. Normally the service is done at 18kish but this needs doing at 12k. 140i...

Re: Adaptive suspension

If your buying a car thats slightly older I'd always be more concerned and avoiding the electrical options like seats, folding mirrors that could stop working and need replacing.

I don't think I'd be too concerned about the adaptive suspension breaking.

Range Rover Evoque

My wife would like a Range Rover evoque as her next car..

Only bummer is advertised deals on land rover are 13k deposits from us and 2.5k discount and 399 monthly payments a month at 6.94%.

Anyone know of a TRL Land Rover equivalent?
