M140 - Display Key Compatibility

Anyone know if these BMW display keys can be purchased and coded to an M140 with full functionality?

M140 - Orbit/Ferrit Grey Alloy Restoration

Anyone had this done on these. I have the orbit grey ones for the Shadow edition. Absolutely gutted. Caught the NS rear one yesterday on the side of a curb yesterday in supermarket car park. All grazed along the edge. With them being the grey, how would they sort this? I did take out alloy wheel cov...

Re: Fuel economy on a long motorway journey in a M240i

I have had more than 40mpg in my M140 on the motorway in EcoPro, using cruise control as much as possible and not going much over 70mph.

Haha. Yes.

M140 - Crawling speed brake squeal since Detail

Had the car detail last week. Looks amazing. After driving it away I noticed later in the day while stuck in some start stop traffic that the brakes were squealing. Quite badly at first, but it has subsided. It does still squeal sometimes now a week later, much quieter, and only in really low crawli...

M140 - Retrofit Lumbar Support

I've read that this can be done.

Is it do-able with official BMW parts and is it something a BMW dealership can fit for me?

Anyone know a parts list and approx. cost?

Re: Enhanced Bluetooth - What is it?

I see. Yeah I understand about the hardware etc. I have the Pro Nav on a 67 plate M140 Shadow, I can connect more than one phone (I haven't done it yet), but I assume I can then switch between the devices in "Manage mobile devices" right. So what you saying is that by having the software part of enh...

Enhanced Bluetooth - What is it?

Read that this can be coded? What exactly do it give you if it just a software change?

I thought the enhanced bluetooth gave you an extra mic or something?

Is it worth coding it in?

Re: M140 - Lower back pain from seats

Thanks for the responses. Strangely, a little comforting to know I'm not alone. Having looked at it further, I don't think the little bit sticking out in the seat is causing the pain. It's so low in the seat, top of the bum area and the pain I'm getting is higher up. I put my hand down my back to th...

M140 - Lower back pain from seats

Had this car coming on two weeks now. I absolutely love it. Been driving around a fair bit and I noticed I was starting to get a little bit of lower back pain on longer drives. Then I did 160 mile round trip to Bournemouth and back and I was in a lot of pain afterwards for a couple of days with my l...

M140 - Exhaust Drone in EcoPro/Comfort???

Been driving the car around quite a bit getting to know it. Obviously in Sport mode the car turns into a bit of an animal noise and power wise. But in EcoPro and comfort I am noticing today a distinct droning in the cabin at a certain speed and rpm. Around 40mph it will change up and move the rpm do...

Re: M140 - Front Parking Sensors

Yeah. It's just how I expected them to work. I suppose their get out would be that do come on automatically "when you select reverse". I suppose it's not really that big of a deal to have to press the button. Just another thing to have to think about if I swing into a space forwards.
