boost pressures 123d

Hi guys , My 2008 123d is feeling slightly weird , it still pulls through the gears and accelerates well , however it just doesn't seem as punchy as it used to. So i used "auto-doc" on my iPhone to try to log boost pressures to see if i have a boost leak or something. if you see the pic attached tha...

Re: 123d E87 Engine Oil

i was in the same boat ,According to my bmw dealer Pre Sept 2008 is 10/w60 due to a needle bearing assembly somewhere in the engine , then after this they changed the bearing assembly so you didn't need the thicker oil.

Been ruining the Castrol 10w60 "super-car" oil for 2 years no problems at all.

Re: Tyre pressures 123d

yes , they are slightly , but im running some fairly hefty front spacers to fit the 335i brakes into my 17inch stock wheels so i didnt want to go much wider as i may end up with tred poking past the wheel arches and id rather not be rolling arches.

Re: Tyre pressures 123d

yeah ,

wierd size because the stock 205/50/17 were another £20 on top and thought that why not go slightly wider + lower for less.
