E92 m3 compatibility

Hi guys,

Friend of mine is breaking a e92 m3 and im wondering what bits I could slap on my e87 123d

Are the springs/shocks compatible or would I need all the arms as well?

boost pressures 123d

Hi guys , My 2008 123d is feeling slightly weird , it still pulls through the gears and accelerates well , however it just doesn't seem as punchy as it used to. So i used "auto-doc" on my iPhone to try to log boost pressures to see if i have a boost leak or something. if you see the pic attached tha...

Re: 123d E87 Engine Oil

i was in the same boat ,According to my bmw dealer Pre Sept 2008 is 10/w60 due to a needle bearing assembly somewhere in the engine , then after this they changed the bearing assembly so you didn't need the thicker oil.

Been ruining the Castrol 10w60 "super-car" oil for 2 years no problems at all.

Re: Tyre pressures 123d

Yes i cant wait ! , ruddy hate the runcraps like driving around with concrete wheels. Thank you Toed64 ive got a 12v compressor and a can of "hot snot" sealant , il have a look at those later they look good.

Re: Tyre pressures 123d

yes , they are slightly , but im running some fairly hefty front spacers to fit the 335i brakes into my 17inch stock wheels so i didnt want to go much wider as i may end up with tred poking past the wheel arches and id rather not be rolling arches.

Re: Tyre pressures 123d

yeah ,

wierd size because the stock 205/50/17 were another £20 on top and thought that why not go slightly wider + lower for less.

Tyre pressures 123d

Hi chaps ,

Im finally swapping out my runcraps tomorrow with some ps4's , there going to be 215 45 17 , tyre pressure wise do i go according to the door card ( which i presume is for runflat tyres) or is there a pressure to start from ?

Re: Tyre size 123d SE

As long as there on different axles i cant see a problem really , the run-craps on the rear may make it potentially over-steer if pushed due to there stiffer construction. But it wouldn't be for long as when i have the funds the back is going to ps4's as well

Tyre size 123d SE

Hi Guys Just wondering about Tyre size , I've currently got 205 50 17 (oem run-craps) and luckily for me one has a slow puncture so im looking to replace both fronts to non-runflat tyres. However if i go like for like size wise PS4's for 205 50 17 are £104 each without fitting. If i look at 215 45 1...
