Re: Improving gear change on 130i

I do not own a 130i but have changed my gearbox oil - as long as the car is level there is no way you can overfill it. Also, there is a theoretical upper limit (1.2lt? or so) so again there is no way you can put more than that anyway because as you said it will start trickling out

Re: Social distancing - some people disgust me

I know that. Some people don't want you to mention certain things. Some people don't want you to say this, some people don't want you to say that. Some people think if you mention some things they might happen. Some people are really f**king stupid. Did you ever notice that, how many stupid people ...

Re: Delay ordering during Coronavirus pandemic?

I still wonder about the true source of this virus given there's a virus lab in Wuhan Province. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8003713/China-appoints-military-bio-weapon-expert-secretive-virus-lab-Wuhan.html I believe the media are referring to the below https://www.nature.com/news/engine...

But my main concern is that my car doesnt start at all at the moment. and I reckon even if dried PCD would not help at this moment. I am ok to live without my sensors but what would you suggest to have my car bring back in action?

Re: Professional HU, worth fixing?

My replacement Pro HU from ebay with BT and USB functions was also PnP. Not only it did not need coding, but I also gained the bongs which were missing with my old Pro Hu. It was from an E9x 2011 car

From what I've read around the forum, it could be sticky Vanos solenoids

Search around the forum or google in general because I am no expert but just a plausible cause

Re: DAB radio in E82 install

If I do do I only need to connect a decent DAB aerial to the back of the head unit for it to work. I upgraded to a BT/USB Pro HU but not a DAB one so no clue about DAB but according to this you will need an aerial retrofit kit. Also will these units do Bluetooth audio ? Bluetooth yes but only for c...

Yes https://babybmw.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=62489 I didn't run a report before buying it no, so it is strange indeed. So you're saying that the real car to which the...

Re: Buissnes CD to Bluetooth type 1 series

Plenty of topics are answering your question already but briefly: It is a straight swap, apart from the orientation of the antenna plug in the newer head unit which either requires cutting the plastics or getting an extension. Of course, in order to get USB and BT you will need extra hardware ( here...
