Re: Anyone know this car? - v1.1

Your doing a cracking job Arnie! Keep up the good work and dont be deterred by those who dont want this information out there. They are in it for profit and dont care about the end consumer. Your one of the good guys looking out for us.

Re: Anyone know this car? - v1.1

Arnie - i tried to search for a car just now and it complained of a data discrepancy. I was looking to see if this car had been written off at some point PJ59 FBE as the pictures in the for sale advert show some panel gaps that dont look right. No rush, if you get a chance :) Thanks Hey. I had my b...

Re: Used car which engine advise (BMW Diesel)

Thanks Sam. I think insurance quotes have made up my mind for me lol. For the 40d i was looking at quotes just over 1k per year  the 30d quotes were much more reasonable :) I found the bigger Diesel engines brutal on insurance too. Last year a 335d was almost twice the price of a M135 to insur...

Re: Reputable custom exhaust shops

Powerspeed in ashford did my 1 series exhaust and they did a good job. Also had my 6 series done by profusion customs near heathrow, they did a cracking job too. Id recommend either place.

Used car which engine advise (BMW Diesel)

Hi all, So im looking at changing my current car and getting something a little newer. But im stuck at which engine to go for. It will need to be a diesel due to the mileage i do daily. So im looking at either getting a 30d or 40d engine from the 2008 - 2015 era. (im keeping the specific car quiet f...

Re: Shock horror!

Bilstein B4 shocks would be your best bet and probably work out the cheapest and are very good shocks. From your signature you say your car is an MSport, so you would need the Msport shocks. If the choices Standard or sport, then you need the sport versions. I would probably look at replacing the sp...

Re: Detailing products for my 240i

Dr leather dye block would be a good product for the leather seats. Exterior protection as mentioned is a bit of a minefield, really depends on your budget and what sort of longevity your after. Usually waxes last upto 4 months, ceramic infused or si02 infused waxes upto 6 months, some claiming upto...

Re: What’s The Best Glass Cleaner

The residue might be down to the cloths you use. Im not sure what you are using but the klin glass cloths are excellent. No lint or smearing and infact they state they can be used with just water. Iv bought a few for the house and a few for the cars. Paired with a cheap glass cleaner, it should work...

Re: What’s The Best Glass Cleaner

Back to some form of sanity, id say Nilco glass cleaner from B&Q is good. Autosmart glass cleaner is also very good. Auto glanz vision is nice as it also combines protection into the cleaner but the protection is not as good as you would get from a dedicated product, but as a time saving product it ...

Re: Selling car - Allowing people to drive it?

Agree with Kerr, i wouldn't buy a car i couldn't drive. Iv never had this issue buying a car before but if i did turn up to view a car to only be told sorry i cant let you drive it, id be walking away to view another car which i could test drive. You cant always get a feel for a car being driven in ...
