Re: M4 LCA's

Partly cost (brace and cheapo dampers), partly to build in lots of safe/nasty understeer, partly so they feel crap in comparison to M Cars. Imagine if they built £25k parts-bin cars that were better than M3's? Why are 911's better than Caymans, because they're intentionally engineered that way. [em...

Re: M140i - does lowering the car naturally give enough camber?

Sorry, think I’m about to drag the thread back a bit. So, if I wanted to improve my steering feel and make it a bit sharper, it seems that LCA are a good answer. Would spacers on the front achieve the same outcome by widening the track? Conscious I wouldn’t get the increased camber but for road use...

Re: M140i - does lowering the car naturally give enough camber?

From looking it seems that before, there car was slightly lower at the back anyway so it looks fine . If it is any lower at the front now it’s only a bit and doesn’t look bad. Thanks for sharing. I was worried it may look stupid low at the front and high at back. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk ...

Re: M140i - does lowering the car naturally give enough camber?

That’s valuable information thanks. Any report in the steering feel and overall impression of the M4 parts. I.e are they worth it? To be honest, I didn’t get the wow that has been reported by others. Felt pretty normal. But on track the car tracks very nicely under braking, before the car was skitt...

Re: How Much...!?!?

Yeah the difference from adding just is definitely noticeable. I added the arms after fitting the suspension. The difference with how the car feels definitely is worth the £250 i spent buying the arms and id certainly recommend them. All honesty it took a few miles to get used to how the car felt af...

How Much...!?!?

You lot aren’t helping, I’ve booked mine into birds next week (suspension and lsd) and realised that I’m still playing catch-up.... Mines 235 is a birds b2 spec, running m4 LCAs and TSs also powerflex rear subframe inserts. Theirs a video of my car on jayemms channel on YouTube. First mod was actua...

Re: Eibach Pros Vs “Motech Stance”

I believe the bottom “motech stance” car is on eibach pros fronts and sportline rears with M4 LCA and TSs on the front. Sportline rears are what makes the Motech stance. Same spring height and spring rates ;) And yes, both pics are of my car, and my signature is up to date ;) [emoji23] i knew I rem...

Re: Eibach Pros Vs “Motech Stance”

I would recommend Motech stance any day. Eibach Motech rear springs are slightly softer than Pro kit and, to me, allow for greater traction and control. They are hands down better than the too-stiff-rear Pro kit. Normal Eibach Pro: https://i.imgur.com/9SuSTOb.jpg Motech stance Eibach: https://i.img...

4 hours, 30 mins to let the original diff cool. 30 mins at end for coding. Marco as you highlighted in the blurb no coding required.
