Re: New Beer with 125i Coupe E82 N52

Actually, Uniroyals are known to be a bit soft. Maybe start at 2.5 all round to help compensate?

Re: New Beer with 125i Coupe E82 N52

Roughly 2.4 all round would be a good kicking off point. I'd try that for a few days, then fine tune to your liking.

Worth a careful trial fit front and rear, some 17's do clear the callipers.

I believe they're 5x112 being UKL2, with the 66.5mm bore.

Re: 2014 f20 118d x-drive wheels and tires

As long as you have the exact same size diameter tyres (same sizes) all round, you'll be fine.

They could be 4 x 195/55/16, or 4 x 205/55/16.

I'd be going for 4 x 205/55/16

Re: The F20 Alloy Wheel Thread

Can anyone advise, Has anyone fitted a spec close to this to their M140i? 19x8j et 35 square set up, 245/35/19 rear PS4’s and 235/35/19 fronts, cars also lowered on h&r springs, any helps appreciated, I know it’ll be pretty tight. Profile is wrong Chap, you need 30 with 19" wheels. 245/35/19 would ...

No idea. I'd hazard a wild guess at 56mm like the F39, F45, F46, F48 & F49??

Re: The Brand New BMW 2 series Grand Coupe

So is this on the UKL platform? It doesn't have the same look/stance, but it has the same horrible ford focus front end and apparent limitations as the F40 i.e. no adaptive with 19"s, transverse mount engine etc. If that's the way forward for the 2 Series I wonder what it means for the M2? Besides,...

And to top off the lock snapping of crappy euro cylinders, and bejesus it would appear that they also have a double garage, for two yes two cars!!!!!! I am sorry but clearly a case of some times there is no hope. Agreed, I'm struggling to muster any sympathy at all. Almost asking for a break-in now...

Re: Had to harsh brake,Have I damaged the brakes or components?

Don't think it has been mentioned here, but the energy involved going from 40mph to 0mph is nothing compared to decelerating at higher speeds. Energy of a moving object is proportional to the speed squared. If my calculations are correct, going from say 100mph to 60mph is four times the energy bein...

I'm sure you could damage the disc if you left it sat on one area long enough? They are abrasive stones.

I'd try to grind the whole disc surface as evenly as possible, just in case.
