Re: How do you keep yourself interested in your car?

I’ve got a standard 1.9tdi A3 for work that gets hammered day in day out so having the option to jump into the 140i at the weekend is such a good feeling! The drive always excites me and never fails to put a smile on my face.

Oh, and when will the Tahiti Green manual version be available?
Not everyone is fortunate to have 35k in the bank... but many people can afford monthlies.

Re: Pilot Sport 4 Poor Fuel Economy

You say BMW fitted your PS4’s but as far as I can see PS4’s are not BMW star rated and have been told by my dealer they will not fit anything non star rated. Also I’m insured by BMW (Great Lakes) and after a phone call with them advising they would not cover anything non star rated I’m Annoyed as I...

Re: Updating your own service history?

I don't consider pads to be part of the service history. I'd just reset the CBS. I've never once looked through the paperwork of a used car to see who changed the brakes or tyres, as long as they're in quality items in good condition I'm happy. Missing fluid changes - now that's a different kettle ...

Re: M140i Stolen this morning (Midlands) UPDATED

Hopefully it’s in a condition where you can keep it for a few more years. So happy your puppy was left alone as well! I keep mine in the garage 99% of the time and then park my work car in front of the garage door, if it’s left on the drive it’s always blocked in by the trusty work car. If they did ...

Re: BMW Finance - VT - what a joke of an organisation

Suspect BMW dealer will have it on a forecourt very soon I would be surprised if it went BMW main dealer no matter how immaculate it was. They really don't want Mlites as stock. Why not? On a side note, when will the PCP market be looked into like the PPI? Lots of garages are guilty for not explain...

Re: Sky or virgin tv

I pay £66 a month for sky world/HD/multi room. The UHD is insane! I then get BT sport free with my internet contract from BT.

Re: 140i help please THEFT

I take back what I said about stun guns and pepper spray for the UK. I had no idea these items were illegal, and I do not own either - but, I would argue that if there was a policy change in the UK, then, non-lethal self protection "weapons" should be reconsidered. I mean, how many times has pepper...

b**tards mate. Hopefully you can prevent any attempts! I’m Fortunate enough to have a garage I can stick it in, but if I do leave it on the drive it’s blocked in by the better half’s car and my work car. I’d like to think it’ll be too much hassle to be moving cars to get it out. Sent from my iPhone ...

Re: Software upgrade?

They did it, I’ve not noticed any different.

They explained it was something to do with the car handling higher speeds. They’ve had some failure of some electrical components during high speed tests in Germany..... apparently.

Would the plates spaced properly slow him down?

No, I’d 101 him for his attitude to driving.
